[Video]
[For anyone that's paying attention today, there's a weird video that comes over the network. The closeup of a face that looked clearly irritated, along with a large burn scar on one side. The perspective of the view turning back and forth as the young man turned around his device a few times. Making an annoyed sound in the process.]
This is so stupid!
[Hopefully no one gets sick as the landscape zooms by in all directions before being turned to the ground. Giving a view of brown boots with a gold stripe going up the front, the toes of the shoes curled upward.]
How can they call this a smart anything! It's not smart at all!
[Someone might have not read his instructions thoroughly out of impatience and is now doing this wrong.]

[ Look she's not going to lie about it, even if she isn't going to tell him that it's just because she's not in the mood to deal with it. Though the tone she's taking is getting slightly more annoyed, even if it's less at him and more at one clear fact. ]
You'll get back whenever this place wants you to go back whether you want to go or not, Zuko.
Sorry about him Weiss.
[He's starting to get more annoyed himself. He was pulled from a rather inconvenient moment, and he's pretty sore to boot. His patience is running very thin.]
I'm not going to sit here and wait-... How do you know my name?!
It's okay. She knows he's a frustrating dumb sometimes.
[ For a brief moment she switches to text to show him too. ]
You can receive text messages too, but don't text me until you get practice.
[ LOOK SHE KNOWS HE'S GONNA BE AWFUL AT IT. And she switches back to voice. ]
Sometimes people come here and then they leave and when they come back they don't remember anything. You've been here before, you don't remember it. I know your name because I know you. We're-- you were.. [ Her voice falters, there's a clear tonal change, her voice almost hurt at having to answer that, but she takes a breath before speaking clearly, if a little curtly. ] We had a relationship, one you aren't going to want too many details about because it's going to be nothing but awkward considering what kind of relationship we had, but we did trust each other. And so we're clear, I'm engaged to someone else now so you don't have to worry about dealing with.. well, that.
[ That was basically the vaguest way she could explain that but she figures keeping vague is probably better in this case. ]

.
He was here before?
He was in a relationship with someone?
... it sounds like it was a big deal?!]
W-WHAT?!
[That's awkward as it is!]

[ She's being curt and she knows it, but what else is she died to do? It isn't his fault this is happening, but she isn't going to wait for someone else to bring it up and make it look like she lied to him so. She's just going to be frustrated and try not to show how she actually feels about this. She'd rather just ice queen about it and hope they can still be. Will, anything. She'd really rather not just ignore that he's here, whether he remembers her or not. ]

[Yeah he's not taking this well.]
I would remember something like that!

[ okay she knows she's just being pissy now. At least she recognizes that where she may not have in the past. ]
I've been here for almost four years now, sorry. I've heard it from a lot of friends before. I can prove it if you want me to. That you trusted me once, anyway, not the more... intimate-- nevermind. Look, it's up to you and if you don't want to, I'll drop it and do my best to pretend you're as strange to me as I am to you.

[He huffs indignantly, narrowing his eyes at the screen of a device he’s never before used.]
Do what you want, I don’t care. If you want to prove it, fine. If not, then just forget it.

locked;
Fine.
I just got here though. I don't know anywhere that's secure.
locked;
There are a few places she could ask him, but she knows he's not from an advanced world. He's not likely to trust places like Holodeck'd right away, so maybe... ]
I'll send you some coordinates for a spot in Fayren's forest and secure it myself if you promise not to be antsy about a little ice. You can melt it as soon as you're ready to leave. Does that sound fair?
locked;
[Nothing could be worse than the north pole.]
That sounds fair.
locked;
[ But mentioning it ahead of time is better than just doing it. She sends him some directions. ] I'll meet you in about two hours? You don't remember Fayren and I don't expect you to use the WaysPoints already.
[ It's not super far into the forest, but he's completely unfamiliar with the area so she'll give him time. She'd just meet him and take him there, but since she knows what she's going to be carrying she'd rather get there on her own instead of just bringing them into the middle of Genessia City. ]

[Zuko is fine with this arrangement. But now Katara has shown up and they're on their way somewhere else.]
My friend and I are going to the Commons first, but I'll see you then.

[ The one positive part of being technically unemployed nowadays- she definitely gets to set her own schedule. ]

He was a man of his word though. And within about two hours, he managed to find his way to Fayren. Though being as new as he was, he wasn't entirely sure where he was going, and was looking around for the strange lady with the white hair.
He certainly looked worse for wear though. His tunic had seen better days. But Katara had managed to find some bandages and gotten him wrapped up. He would have to take care of his clothes later.
For now, there was seemingly more important things.]
Re: [Action]
The Grimm seems to be alerted to Zuko's presence before Weiss is, huffing in his direction before Weiss turns her attention up to him. A couple moments later, the monster seems to dissolve into thin air. ]
If you needed a shirt that badly you should've let me known. It isn't like I didn't have spare time.
[Action]
Which only sealed that in his mind as the thing disappeared. His attention then turning to the girl.]
I'm fine.
[He didn't see his shirt as being all that important to take care of immediately. Besides, he wasn't about to ask that of someone he doesn't even know. Even if she knows him.]
Let's just get this over with.
[Action]
Still, she rolls her eyes. ]
Look, you don't have to like me or hang around me or anything. I'm not expecting you to, but I didn't want to lie either. I just want you to know that you have someone you can trust here if you need someone. It's the least I can do.
[ She moves over to a tree where she'd put a long dufflebag, kneeling down to unzip it. She highly doubts that he's expecting her to pull out what she does- his swords, and the Blue Spirit mask. She picks up the mask and holds it out to him as she stands up. ]
[Action]
All right, fine. I'm sorry, okay? This is just a lot to take in.
[It was overwhelming, especially after what had happened before he and Katara were suddenly yanked over here. Plus he was injured, sore, and cranky. It wasn't Weiss's fault entirely. But the info bomb hadn't helped. He shouldn't be taking it out on her though, and he knew that.
Thus Zuko tried to compose himself... and then he saw what she pulled out. His eyes going wide. Seeing the mask, he slowly took it from her. A flood of memories passing through his mind.]
... How?
[And the question stopped there.]
[Action]
[ But she won't go into that. It's besides the point. ]
I.. didn't understand at first. Despite how I am now, I used to be a much more difficult person. [ Stubborn, argumentative, snobby, strictly lawful. Rather thankfully one of her positive attributes is that she's adaptive and willing to at least try to consider others points. ] But the other Zuko taught me that sometimes people can do awful things and it doesn't mean they have to be bad people. That sometimes you have to break everything you grew up being told was right to become a better person, too. [ She draws both swords from the duffle next, clearly comfortable with them, then holds the hilts out to him. ]
When he disappeared, I went to clean out his apartment and make sure they were safe so no one else would find out. I've kept them in a safe in my closet since. I think it's about time I returned them.
[ A beat. ] For the record, I was 17 when we met. Not 22. [ Because now that seems like a much bigger difference. ]
[Action]
There was a moment's hesitation, but he then took the weapons. He knew he would probably need those. Holding the swords together in one hand, he then looked at the blue spirit mask in the other. Considering it for a moment before looking back up at Weiss.]
I'm sorry that I'm not the person you knew.
[He knew he didn't need to apologize, but it just felt right. He didn't know what it must be like for her, but he knew it couldn't be good. Despite how she seemed to have moved on. Zuko then held the mask out to her.]
If he taught you that, then he didn't need this anymore, and neither do I. You can keep it.
[Action]
Thank you, Zuko. I'll keep it safe.
[ For probably the first time since they've started talking, an earnest smile pulls to her lips. ]
I know it's terrifying being in another world, especially one where there's a lot of technology you haven't got experience with, but just know you have someone you can trust and rely on here.
