[Orihime's one of the lucky ones who didn't get her window smashed in by a rogue newspaper. She's seen the weather forecast, and at first she thought it was just the weatherman playing a joke. Then the typhoon actually hit, and she's got a funny feeling the other days are probably going to happen as well. So there she is, backing away from the sheltered corner where she put her device to start recording her. The yellow raincoat is flapping at a sheer horizontal angle, hood fluttering around her determined little face.]
I've got money, and I'm not far from the grocery store! If anyone got caught by the storm and needs an emergency delivery, let me know!
[She salutes.]
I don't mind getting wet! And I know the city really well--!
[And the wind slowly pushes her out of frame. Where'd she go? ...Oh, there she is, marching back into place until she's centered again. But as soon as she stops, there she goes, sloooowly blown to the side while she salutes.]
Send me a text with a list of what you need, the name of your apartment building, and your room number. I'll be there--
[Gone. March march march. Salute!]
--in a jiffy! Orihime out!
[She runs forward to rescue her communicator just as it gets blown off of the ledge she put it on. End feed.]

[Meanwhile, while Jaune is going to get Nora...!/Action]
OOF...!
[He's stopped by something. No, someone. Someone warm. Someone sooooft... What a welcome respite, what welcome from the storm! What joyous sanctuary! For a moment, he's lost himself, just holding onto Orihime... but then he remembers what he came out for and snaps out of it, bolting upright.]
Oh, right! [The wind picks up again, and his sneakers slide. Still, he takes his time as he smiles to Orihime.] Hi there, hot stuff. Nice ay out huh? I'm Jaune! Jaune... [He eeps as the wind blows strong, nearly knocking him over, and he visibly struggles to maintain his balance.] ... Arc! You and I should totally get together sometiiiiiiiime!
[And away he goes again.]

Okay, bye!
[She waves, because she's not really sure what else to do. Maybe next time she sees him pop up on the video screen, she'll say hello properly.]

THAT'S THE SPIRIT! NEVER LET ANYTHING STAND IN YOUR WAY! NOT EVEN THE VERY HAND OF GOD!
Video
Yes sir!
[She snaps another salute. She can't help but feel inspired by his encouragement!]
Did you just arrive? I'm Orihime, nice to meet you!

[Unless, you know, you say it would be helpful. or that you need it.]
Are you sure you're going to be safe out there? [Oh, look. He's worried, 'hime.]
no subject
[Maybe not ones that are strong enough to push Orihime slowly down the street, since Tokyo's a little more inland. But still!]
And don't worry about your car, it's okay! There's a lot of debris flying around,, it'd be really sad if your car got dented.
[A big plastic recycling box flips up from the left of the screen and crashes into Orihime's head, staggering her. She clutches at her head with a hiss of pain.]
Ow ow ow ow ow...!
[And yet, before it can be blown out of sight, it's the recycling bin that's severely dented after colliding with Orihime's rock hard head.]
no subject
Yeah, bullshit that's you safe. [Seriously, he's getting up right now.] Car can be fixed. I'm coming to get you.

[She'd rather keep delivering, but if no one's taking her up on her offer, there's no sense weathering the typhoon any longer.]

[Need to get some groceries anyway, but that look of concern makes her feel bad for worrying him. She surrenders with a winsome smile and nods.]
All right. I'll head home. Tomorrow's weather will probably be better anyway.
no subject
[Okay. He nods, still looking worried.]
Probably. [His eyes drift to the window.] Okay. Go now. Drop me a line when you get in. [He hangs up, so you can't even use him as an excuse to be hanging around out there any longer. Call, text, whatever. Just let him know when you get home. Or he's assuming the worst and going looking.]
