[Action] ~ Practicing Magic

It had taken her awhile to find the perfect place but she soon found a corner of the city where no one was around. She prefered somewhere far away from the residence of the city to practice.

She started by focusing the dark spell and casting it to hover around her. Three dark spheres of matter orbit around her as she focused. Ultima. Her focus faltered and the spheres shrink before slamming into the ground at her feet.

As the dust settles she carefully rose from the ruins. Terra managed to keep the explosion small but she knew some people would come running after seeing the plume of dust. It wasn't so bad. Only the ground was destroyed.

She brushed herself off trying to figure out what to do next.

Right. That is why I'm practicing. It was hard to find a good spot but it seems I still made a mess.

[She needs to become stronger.]

With magic like that, a mess will probably always occur.

[Because that is what she assumed anyway, spells like that always will.]

[Terra looks up curiously.]

Do you know magic?

[She smiles and gives a nod.]

I do, I know Black and White magic.

I know white magic as well but I never thought to practice it as much as black magic. Maybe we can teach each other something.

[Terra wants to learn everything she can. She thinks her memories will come back if she does.]

I find that any magic is useful, but White Magic is one I know far better than Black magic, but that is mostly because it can help people rather than have the possibility of hurting them.

[Terra nods.]

That makes sense. I wish I could focus more on healing.

[Her eyes focus on something far away. Terra had a job to do and it needs to have her power.]

Why can't you focus on healing?

[She had to wonder why though.]

[Terra shakes her head.]

My world is filled with war and not a lot of people know magic. My magic is used to defend the towns. It's better if it ends quickly.

[She sounds sad but it is a decision she made.]</small.

[Yuna couldn't help but at least admire her somewhat, using ones powers to be able to protect people.]

That's good. I mean, that's what I did before now. It's nice to know I'm not the only one like that. [She nearly sacrificed her own life in order to save Spria from Sin, if only for a little while. But thankfully she managed to do that and make in permanent without risking her life.]

[Terra is trying to not let her shyness get the best of her.]

Yes.

Have you been in the city a long time?

[She shakes her head slight;y.]

Not really, a couple of months at best. How about you?

Not very long either. It's hard to get used too.

[Terra still hasn't adjusted to being here. It is to confusing.]

So you haven't been here as long as me then.

[That's understandable, after all going from one place to one that's very different is difficulty to get through.]

I'm sure you'll get adjusted soon enough.

Thank you. I don't know if I want to get used to it but it's a little nicer than home.

[That's how it seems anyway and Terra is still getting the hang of things.]

I don't think any of us really want to get use to it. I mean I'm sure we all have things we have to do back home, but it seems it's all we can do currently.

[Which is a hard thing to really get through ones head.]

I think... I think it would be easier if I had more to do here.

I haven't had luck finding a job.

I guess in that area we're both in the same boat.

[She puts a finger to her cheek. it was rather annoying that she couldn't figure out what she wanted to do while he was here.]

It's hard to think of what you can do and what would make a good job with those skills.

Maybe they have job listings? We could look?

[Terra is shy but she sounds hopeful and her soft voice raises a little in volume.]

I believe there is a place one can look.

[She knew that much but was never successful in figuring out what would be a good idea or not.]

[Terra nods, noticing Yuna's uncertainty.]

What about working in a shop or running deliveries? I've been thinking of some things but nothing for certain.

I guess those are good and easy options one could do for a start.

[She knew there might be other things, but she can never know until she looks.]

If I find something I will let you know then.

[It is nice to talk with a peer who appears to be in the same situation as her.]

Maybe we can both find something that way.

[She nods, giving a small but reassuring smile.]

I hope so, but it does mean looking so I should go do that. It was a pleasure to talk to you. [She gives a small smile before heading off.]
