[As the video starts, you can see it was placed on the chair. There, you saw a floating red device with a pointed top and two arms waving around. When it turns around you could see its blue eyes and a mouth on its monitor.]

Ash, where are you?! Come on, I know you won't leave me!

[When he turns to the camera, he flies over it as his monitor now shows a confused emoticon.]

Excuse me! I'm still working this device despite I'm currently in a Pokedex, but has anyone seen my user, Ash? Also, where am I?! This isn't Alola or Kanto! And can anyone tell me why I woke up here in that strange white pod with a phone and some keys in a box?!

[Action] The Bay

[After Rotom's short freakout, he somehow became amazed at the city. In fact, just seeing the Pokemon from other residents causes him to fly over them with a big grin.]

So, there are Pokemon in this city as well!

[He then turns around and uses his camera on his back to take a photo of the Pokemon.]

[With a Pokedex-clothed Rotom coming her way, Eliot's Zubat flies off of his hoodie and comes to meet Rotom halfway. She seems delighted to have found a flying Pokemon to play with.

On the ground, Eliot is flailing around in an attempt to reach his Zubat.]

Ami! Wait, don't leave me! I can do better!

[Upon seeing the Zubat, Rotom smiled as he approaches the Bat Pokemon.]

Ooh, so they have a Zubat here as well!

[His monitor then shows a picture of it as he recites its entry.]

Zubat, the Bat Pokemon. A Poison and Flying type. It sleeps in caves during the day. It has no eyes, so to check its surroundings while flying, it emits ultrasonic waves.

[Amelie cries out in joy when she is recognized, still flying loops around Rotom. She wants to have fun and hasn't realized that Eliot is feeling abandoned.]

Ami, I can be smart too! I'm a library! Please don't leave me for the smarter red phone!

[Eliot's pleas is enough for the possessed Pokedex to notice the young boy before he approaches him.]

Oh, so you're that Zubat's trainer? I'm sorry if I taking my time with her.

[Aaaaand here comes Mordecai, nose buried in his phone. Normally, he'd be entirely alone on these little walks but since... the thing happened, his excursions have been a lot less private.

... TL;DR there's a very chipper Meowth, cream fur all nice and brushed, happily toddling alongside Mordecai, one paw gripped by the gunman.

Huh? Odd, why did someone dress this Meowth in that kind of clothes?

[In a tone that suggests he might have heard this question before. Meowth doesn't really seem to notice nor care the clothes, cheerfully chattering up at Rotom like you know.

Rotom, the Plasma Pokemon. An Electric and Ghost type. Its body is composed of plasma. It is known to infiltrate electronic devices and wreak havoc.

[After that notion, Rotom becomes confused at what Ted explained.]

If you mean a Ghost and Electric-type, then yes! As a Rotom, I can possess several electronic devices. This Pokedex, on the other hand, is one of a kind!
