Routine for an immortal was something that was rather hard to get into. Especially without the pressing forces of war on all sides. As such, Alexstrasza had found herself struggling with finding something to do with her time. She did, however, get into a habit of going down to the docks, diving into the water after making small talk with Fayren's sailors and transforming into her natural form for some morning fishing. It was a good way to stretch her wings and get some exercise while not drawing too much attention to herself. After all, it was considered off-putting when mortals found a dragon of her size making her lair just outside of town. Today, however, she decided to fly over Fayren and watch the people go about their business while she ate her fish. She flew high enough that she didn't cast a shadow, but she was still damp from her swim, so a lingering drop or two might cause someone to look skyward, not that she was too concerned.

But Liora was still working on her magic, particularly honing her skill in wielding her light-based magic. Which is what she was doing today; flying around in the skies of Fayren, casting her light spells. Of course, she couldn't quite reach the heights that Alexstrasza was flying, but it should be enough for her to notice the bright balls of yellow light racing through the sky. And Liora, while casting for another Bright Bolt, surely felt a drop of water on her, interrupting her concentration and prompting her to look up.
"What was that?" she wondered.

After a moment, Liora opted to ignore the waterdrop she had felt. Perhaps it was nothing but the clouds starting to form. She began to fly in casual circles, pondering on how to resume her practice.
Now what else can I do with light...?
When an idea came to her, she stopped, her wings swaying gently as she hovered in place. A brief flurry of blue glyphs flashed around her as she gathered the magical energy that surrounded her. Then she held out her talons towards the ground, and a soft wide beam of light shone downwards. Anyone within the beam would feel a soothing warmth, but would be in danger of being blinded if they tried to look towards Liora while within it, as they would be glancing at the sun directly behind her.
