I see you're all still riled up from the events of this week.

[Pointedly filming himself, he was standing in a shopping mall in the home appliances area, as he stuck a cord onto a vacuum and held up his laptop and computer.]

Metavirus, Suitoru.

[With a fiendish grin, he slid the card through a reader on his laptop.]

Action

There's literally a rampaging robot in the town today, along with several maroon robots. It could be said they were there for a demonstration, but they're running around, causing chaos and rampaging around the town of Genessia.

You wanted a villain? You had a villain, as the Vacuumroid sighed. "What a pain," he grunted, bowing before a vehicle. "Pardon me."

He stuck his hose projection into the car fuel tank and began sucking it up. He would proceed to do this to every vehicle and electronic he saw, draining them of fuel and energy into the shoulder mounted tank.

Standing on a lamppost, Enter is watching with amusement. "How interesting, no Megazord reaction. Looks like my experiment is a success."

(ooc: The fighting is about wrapped up, there's a reserved space for one more person but you're welcome to respond to his video.)

Karla simply blinked as the Buglers began to advance on her. So much for civility...

She let out a sigh. "So that's how it's going to be? Very well then..."

While normally she would let her opponents attack first, she decided that five was too many to handle with that method. So she rushed in, swinging her sword towards them with lightning-quick strokes. Hopefully she could at least take out one or two before they could strike back...

Surprising, for cannon fodder, the Buglers were pretty good at fighting. The first tumbled to the side with the strike but two and three parried, with four swinging at her head.

The fifth aimed and fired several energy bolts at her, while the Metaroid finished up, and a sixth carried away the fuel cell.

"Keep her busy Buglers!" Exclaimed the Metaroid as he went towards another vehicle. "What a pain...!"

Well, not too surprising, as she's been in this world for almost four years, and opponents here were far tougher than back home.

She dodged the attack that was aimed for her head, but was struck and knocked several feet away from the energy shots with a gasp. She picked herself up quickly though, quickly pondering on how to handle this. She may have to send out one of her Pokémon to assist her, or if worse came to worst, call David or Lea for backup.

But in the corner of her eye, she spotted the Metaroid walking away to continue its work. Of course, the best way to stop a group is to stop the leader. So Karla turned and ran after the Metaroid, aiming another strike for the back of his head when she was within range...

Suddenly, the Metaroid spun around and the long vacuum like attachment on his arm came up to block it. "Hue hue hue, you think it's that easy?" He chuckled as he parried the blade and drove his elbow at Karla's stomach. "This is a pain to do, but I can't have you interfering!"

The buglers who were scattered were getting up now, and they were aiming shots at Karla once more, five salvos in all prepared to fire.

The attack nailed her in the stomach, causing her to double over, staggering back. She rolled to the side to avoid any incoming shots from that Buglers.

"Just who are you, and what are you trying to do that's so important that you can't have anyone interfering?"

"That'd be too much of a pain to explain," replied the Metaroid. "You're getting on my nerves, so just die!"

And he cocked the vacuum arm and fired at Karla. Meanwhile, the tank was being carried off to a nearby stolen vehicle, with a bunch of tanks in the back. There, a Bugler was filling up the tank with a sharp green liquid.

Meanwhile, Enter watched in fascination. Unpowered humans? Well, they felled one of the Buglers but was having trouble. How troublesome humans were.

Well, not completely unpowered. That's something Karla's been working on throughout her tenure as Deputy Guardian. When the Metaroid fired from its vacuum arm, the shot came too quickly for Karla to properly react. However, as she held up her arms over her face, the gauntlet that Gale had given her for Christmas activated, forming an energy shield to block the attack. She still staggered back a step from the impact as well as her own surprise.

After a sigh of relief, Karla spoke again. "Everything's such a pain, is it? Well, it'd be much less painful if you'd stop."

She then pulled a Pokeball from under her sash and tossed it lightly to the ground, unleashing her Squirtle.

"Squirtle, wash them out, will you?"

"Squirtle!" The turtle Pokemon obeyed, spitting out a powerful stream of water towards the Buglers, while Karla kept her attention on the Metaroid.

"Jokes on you, I don't feel pain." replied the Metaroid seconds before the Buglers were washed backwards into a flailing pile of digital mess.

"The more you get in my way, the more I'm getting annoyed!" Exclaimed the Vacuumroid as he charged forward, swinging his weapon like a sword.

Oh ho, that was interesting. Enter gauged the shield for a moment before grinning. A challenge! What a nice turn of events.

Karla could almost smile when the Vacuumroid rushed at her. Melee combat, the one thing that Karla excels at! But since this was serious business, Karla took it seriously. She parried the attack easily, then slipped around behind it and aimed a fast stroke towards the back of its neck. If this creature couldn't feel pain, she'd have to defeat it as quickly as possible.

Her sword cut into the Metaroids' neck as it stumbled, sparks flying from the impact. It still ~~had to get to Lucky's thread~~do it's work, as it stumbled forward. "What a pain!" He exclaimed, seconds before one of the buglers got up and went to tackle Karla from behind.

Karla watched her opponent for a moment. The sparks flying from its neck...this thing certainly wasn't human. It wasn't even made of flesh.

Before Karla could ponder any further, she cried out as the one Bugler tackled her to the ground.

"Squirtle!" she yelled to her Pokemon for assistance.

Obediently, the Squirtle rushed in, trying to tackle the Bugler to get it off Karla.

The Bugler raised its weapon but the tackle knocked it off Karla, as it rolled over and then with a crackle of energy, detonated.

It exploded in a fiery eruption, leaving nothing behind as the other buglers made expressions of annoyance as the Metaroid stumbled to his feet.

"You're such a pain!"

Karla stood again, holding her weapon at her side, looking somewhat annoyed herself.

"Honestly? Is that all you can say? You might as well give up now, or else I'll be the least of your pain."

"I just have a job to do. Don't mind me if you get hurt because of it!" Snapped back the Metaroid, ready to step in but suddenly, a hand came down and Enter stepped forward, already transformed into his monster form.

"Ca va, Guardian," he said, raising a hand in greeting. He had already hacked into the records and knew her name, as he tilted his head. "Vacuumroid, go about your business."

With the waterlogged Buglers getting up, Enter lazily spun a sword in his hand. "I must say you put up quite a fight against my Metaroid. I'm impressed."

Karla blinked in surprise as the new figure approached. His compliment boosted her confidence a little bit. She trained hard for battles like this, damn it. It was good to know that was paying off.

"So you're the one in charge of those things?" she asked. "I hope you don't mind, but I have a job to do as well. Perhaps you can help me understand what they were doing?"

All the while, she thought that whatever happens here, David is definitely going to hear about this.

"It's simple really," said Enter, seemingly unconcerned with divulging his plan. "It's rather much that a child could get it. I'm having the vacuumroid extract all forms of energy, so that it can be compressed and converted into Enetron."

He seemed to smile under that faceless mask of his, as Enter raised his sword to point at Karla. "Sadly you're in the way, and I need him for the time being, oui? I may have to ask you to let me do it with the usual lack of empathy for living beings."

"Hmm." She took in the story so far, standing calmly, even as the figure had his sword pointed at her. "And what exactly do you need Enetron for?"

That's a term she hasn't heard before, but it hardly matteree. His answer will determine whether she would continue to stand in his way. She probably would, because he and his Metaroid were terrorizing innocent people.

"Why to resurrect Messiah of course," said Enter which was a horrible lie, but his amused tone said he was probably planning something big. "Messiah will appear and devour this entire city. Sonne comme une fête amusant, non?"

"It's really too bad you have to get in my way."

Since Karla had nothing else to work with, she would believe that lie. Regardless, it was definitely something that needed to be stopped. She bowed her head for a brief second, an amused smile crossing her face.

"Yes, a shame indeed. Well, shall we begin? I assume you're here to challenge me personally..."

It was rather telling, with the way he pointed his sword at her.

"Perhaps. Although..." And he gestured at the Vacuumbot and the Buglers... who had piled into a stolen truck and were speeding away. "Maybe it was just to distract you. Salut!"

Karla blinked in surprise, but quickly pulled out her device and snapped a photo of the truck as it was speeding away. And oh yeah...might as well snap a photo of the person in front of her while she's at it, which she did.

She then let out an exasperated sigh. Well, there's still a chance to arrest this guy.

"I suppose you're going to flee as well?"

"Perhaps another day mademoiselle," he said in a mocking tone, lowering his weapon and giving Karla a bow. "You can't catch a mouse when you don't bait the trap, oui?"

And he literally, teleports out in a flurry of digital energy.
