ANON TEXT
How many people have someone who loves them waiting in their own world? What if people love you here too? I don't mean, are you forced to choose between worlds.
[What if one of them is married, and also you don't feel like dealing with other romantic entanglements, and shouldn't really be having that one, but you can't help it, because you never forget your first love?]
Do you think it is disloyal to be with someone like them who is not actually them? Where does that even draw the line anyway? If you love someone and never act on it, is it still considered an affair?
[If you don't give someone your best, what is even the point? But what if you can only give your best to someone who can't have it????]
Completely unrelated: let's open the floor for pokemon name suggestions for anyone STILL STUMPED even a week later, yeah? List the pokemon type, personality, pictures, whatever you want and see if someone can give you name ideas.

Depends on what one means by "like them". It doubly depends on what's meant by "love" in that instance. One is, after all, judged by the heart.
[Not gonna touch the poke-question]
[anon]
[Meh. This is stupid anyway. She's here for Jack. And yet....]
Re: [anon]
Re: [anon]
That's easy to answer. It's just yes, being similar is no excuse.
[Ugh but how much can she diffuse it so it doesn't literally give away the BEYOND UNIQUENESS of her circumstances?]
Have a for instance:
Someone died. They were person A's first love. But person A moved on and found love after that. Because they thought their first love was dead.
[It's close enough, even Rose referred to falling into Pete's Universe as her death. Since it was officially classified as such. And spending 2-3 years as a ghost didn't help either.]
Only here, that first love could still show up. Or maybe they won't. Holding out hope forever like that isn't even what Person A's first love would want from them. But if they try to love someone else now, the more those other people remind them of their first love, they're just reminded of what they really want, yeah?
And that's not fair to anyone. Person A, their first love, or anyone else. Although the everyone else could be secure in their own position, but what Person A's first love really DID show up? Then what??
Re: [anon]
[Cause otherwise lol it doesn't count]
Re: [anon]
[Since she knows his true name. And Jack's.]
[But didn't before.]
[But might have with Meta.]
[And this is still off on another theoretical level that doesn't matter.]
Let's say they're not from Earth, but did their world's equivalent. And then one died in a war. And so did Person A actually. A lot. [THIS IS NOT GIVING HER AWAY AT ALL :V] And so did anyone else they might love here.
Death is complicated here, isn't it?

what is anon can i put pink bows on it
When I turn the dial on my watch, I know I remember many lost loves. I know I try to remind myself to continue them, even once I've forgotten them. I know it's unusual of me, but I can know at any time that the 'me' who was in love always wants that love to be my #1.
But if you hold on to every love like it's #1, you'll go insane.
So I think it's okay to let your heart move on...? Maybe? Mortals shouldn't waste their hearts on love that won't reach anyone.
yes totally
Who even is mortal here? No seriously. Death is like maiming. People can come here dead in their own timeline, and when you go back, there's minimal odds of remembering this place. We're all in a very quasi-dimensional setting. It makes immortality vs. mortality a lot more moot. And it was already a stupid question.
done
If you have a limited time, you shouldn't waste it. So it's okay to let go a little bit and move on. Hearts aren't meant to be lonely.
it's gorgeous
I can't really.
And I'm not trying to. Just seeing who can empathize, and how they cope, if that makes sense.
I guess I'm kind of stubborn. It always seems like no one can get my best while part of me is a world away.

Also what if some of the people here knew you first?

As for the affair thing? The way I see it? Those are all memories of the past. You're not going to consider yourself cheating with your current lover because you're thinking about your ex, are you?

[She shakes her head.]
[She disagrees. The Doctor is still the Doctor a thousand years a billion heartbreaks later. That's her very problem!]
I mean, yeah. A bit. Because usually if I'm with someone, it's because there's no one else I could even imagine wanting to be with. And there's good reasons I moved on from my exes. So to have that lingering would put such a damper over my head, why would I move on from my ex if I still missed them so much I wasn't even enjoying someone new?

I don’t think so. You never told them how you feel?
[Seiya is trying to be helpful here, but he isn’t particularly experienced concerning Rose’s situation.]

[Let's see. How to sum up her life situation without making it blitheringly painfully obvious that it's HER.]
["I told him, spent the next two years turning down dates with anyone else and one marriage proposal -- although that was mostly to snap me out of it, all to chase after a person in another universe. Every time I found him he was dead, when I finally found him in time? He died again. Then half of him split into a clone who is now in another universe, the rest of him moved on, got married, but his future is past his wife's death, except she's alive here. Except so is his past who is also married to her. Meanwhile, I'm trying not to seal myself off again, but I am apparently incapable of giving someone my all when I'm this much in love with an idiot, who even I will acknowledge doesn't deserve it. I'm pretty sure he doesn't WANT me to love him either since it's a headache for both of us, and dead or not, his wife is ALIVE HERE, so I mean other than sharing with his past... he's married. So. Yeah. Oh, and then there's his youngest past here who wants me, is before splitting into the clone, but I don't want to even accidentally pull him from other people he loves that he never devoted himself to, because he did the same thing as me, of pining from another universe. Fantastic, isn't it?"]
[She's also biting back all the sarcasm of "fantastic, we're married and have 8 kids, and that's why I'm anon messaging total strangers so that I can ask what constitutes an emotional affair."]
[Rose assumes her fellow anon is trying. Sort of. At least caring enough to respond, and yes, that counts for a lot.]
[What to say, though?]
A lot of time passed for them since then, whereas it was a lot more recent for me. I know they are trying to keep things on the level we had before things happened, but I am the one who must analyze my choices. I thought I could remove myself from the equation, from the level, but I cannot. If the person waiting for me in another universe was here, I cannot even fully claim it wouldn't matter anymore. It still would. And that is a big problem I don't know how to deal with fully either.

"Oh. I'm sorry to hear that. I hope things will work out for you. I think you shouldn't give up and keep on trying. I know you believe you cannot, but perhaps with a will, there's another way..."
[His message is sincere, though idealistic...]

I have yet to decide on names for my pokémon, however. I have a Swablu, Chimchar, and Mudkip. Swablu seems to enjoy being affectionate, Mudkip mischievous and playful, and Chimchar dedicated to becoming stronger through training.
[Anon Text]
I'm awful at names too!! I hope someone else has ideas! orz
[Anon Text]
I would name her after my past Altaria, but I do not feel it is right to do so.
[Anon Text]
You had a pokemon before here? Are they native to your planet?
[Anon Text]
Not here, but where I was before. They appeared temporarily, though two of them were left with me.
