About a year's worth of holidays and a couple of elections. An evil carnival appeared--trust me, it was worth missing--and the, ah, spirits broke in again. It was patched up.

Our bodies and brains were tossed around by the not-so-merry winds of fate. The body-switching was very enjoyable, for those disposed to joy. The compulsive mania was rather more dreadful. So many weren't themselves, and a lot of suffering came of it.

Oh! And we had a sports festival! I've taken your advice to heart, diligently applying to my exercises. It's both a pity and a blessing you weren't there; I never would've gotten the gold medal in wrestling if you were. Still, I'd like to try your mettle in the art sometime.
