[ There's a simple humming, and the video cuts on with a particular cat Pokemon with black and red fur prodding at Konoka's device, then seemingly realizing that it's on and scurrying away before one of her other Pokemon could get him in trouble. 

Konoka is pulling out some very specialized sweets from the oven. It had taken a bit of work to produce them, and she had help from Essei, but it was so worth it! With a pep in her step, Konoka breathed in deep and called out to the house. ]

OH SECCHAN~!

Please come get your White Day gift!  I'm finally ready~!

[ Konoka wasn't exactly expecting Eva to wander in, even if the vampire could do what she pleased. Her brief surprise gave way, however, to her own question. ]

What ingredients are you talking about?

Everything in that pantry. [She points. Hey they probably talked about this at some point, right?]

...and everything I left out last night.

[ She didn't sense any magic from the ingredients she made, but Eva was (probably) several levels above her enough to mask it, so. ]

[She starts off on one of those menacing little chuckles she does... for about a second, before she gets an inkling of what that excited smile is about.]

[ It's Konoka's turn to giggle. ]

Awww, that's too bad. Maybe you can win Essei's heart over even more than you already have~!

[ What can she say? It's in her blood to tease, even with someone as powerful and dangerous as Eva. Somebody like Dracula would be a whole lot more tolerable if she could troll them like this. ]

Why would I need to 'win over her heart' she'll already do anything I say. You so-called students of mine could learn a thing or two from her for that matter.

[And at this particular point, Essei kind of leans into the room.]

... This unit gets the sense it has just walked into something complicated?

[She doesn't dare say anything about Evangeline's romantic life, though. She would, however, absolutely do anything Mistress said. That was her programming and role, after all.]

[ Yes, she knows she's being ultra-petulant, and Eva would likely crush her with a Harsh Life Truth.

It's more than just letting her do what you say! A person just being mindless is a maid! Someone devoted to you is the power of love! I know you're an Ice type, but you're allowed to let your heart melt every once in a while, don't you think?

There's nothing complicated about it. [She just snaps that right off at Essei without pausing before rounding back on Konoka.

...though in her case there's a bit of staring before she crosses her arms. What is a teenager? A miserable pile of sap-!]

I'm allowed whatever I want. [Probably not the opinion of local law enforcement but hey it's Eva.] And I don't lie awake dreaming of whispering sweet nothings with someone like you kids. Having her drink tea with me in the park without talking my ear off beats the hell out of trying to date her or whatever you're on about.

[She rubbed her brown.] Where is this even coming from anyway? Were you tasting the chocolate? You tasted it, didn't you?

But Eva-chan, sometimes the simplest gestures are the best!

[ Because Konoka doesn't always do the elaborate, lovey dovey stuff with Setsuna every day. The poor girl would melt if she didn't ease up on occasion.

But before she could point this out, Eva's question caught her, so she felt compelled to answer it. ]

Just a little bit to be sure Secchan tastes it, to be sure it's good. Why do you ask?

"A-ah, Oujou-sama! You didn't need to do that for me."

Ever the modest girl, (or perhaps just really shy and weak when it comes to Konoka), Setsuna walks into the kitchen when she's called.

"Don't worry so much!" Konoka said. "I made this for you because I wanted to!"

She brought out the elaborate, heart shaped chocolates on a pan, setting it down on a mat so Setsuna could pluck them freely. "I hope they taste alright."

Setsuna smiled as she looked down at the heart shaped chocolates, touched that Konoka would go through that much work just for her.

Reaching out, she grabs onto a piece, popping it into her mouth to savor the taste.

"Mmm....It's very good! You did really well Kono-chan!"
