I had one of my most fun hunts in Fayren recently. Someone contracted me to get some dragon egg shells for them. It was kind of hard to locate a dragon that had hatched young already, but I managed to do it.

The first picture is of him taking a selfie with a sleeping dragon. He's giving a peace sign and everything because it's totally going well.

Next picture is another selfie with the dragon. He's kind of giving it bunny ears. However, one of the dragon's eyes is open now. But Sun doesn't notice.

The next picture is of a panicked looking Sun after he sees the last picture. The dragon is standing up in this one. The next one is a shot of the mouth of the cave as flames come rushing out. Sun had been a good distance away, so he didn't get burnt.]

What I learned is that dragons don't like bunny ears. [And that it is possibly a terrible idea to wake a sleeping dragon. But mostly the first thing.]

[Here, Sun, have another dragon looking at you through the device. You might notice that he has fins on either side of his head that could take the shape of bunny ears. Thankfully, Qubine can't even be insulted at the thought of dragons with bunny ears, because...he's seen some pretty bizarre fashion senses among dragons in Sornieth.]

...You would be surprised. I trust that no dragons were harmed in your little hunt? It looks like you had fun regardless.

I had no reason to hurt it. All I wanted was the egg shells. [Which he did manage to get before his fiery exit.] It was a good time. That was the first time I'd ever been so close to a sleeping dragon.

[He also knows it's very stupid to approach one, but it was still fun nonetheless.]

[He's wondering what one would use egg shells for. Perhaps someone has an alchemy brew here?]

What use would anyone have for them?

That's quite daring of you. Most would never dream to get so close to dragonkin. I certainly hope she didn't choose to pursue you.

I find that as long as someone doesn't do something stupid, they will be mostly fine. [Granted he did something stupid, but still..]

She came out of the cave, but she didn't pursue me into the forest. She wouldn't have been able to see me from the air either, so I figure she knew she'd be wasting her time.

That is most likely. And if she had young in there, staying at their side would be far more important than chasing the one who roused her from her nap.

[Those sorts of antics sound like something his friend Isamu would do. It was hard not to laugh at that thought.]

Pardon my inquiring, but what sort of work is it that you do? Being commissioned to fetch the shells of a dragon egg sounds quite curious.

[He's curious what would be special about a dragon's egg shell, but he can only assume it was probably an alchemical reagent of some kind.]

I take it it was impossible to wait until the dragon was no longer using the nest?

Impossible? No. Less fun? Yes. [Not many finances would find their significant other doing something reckless like this amusing. You really are one in a million, Weiss.]

That's a fair argument. [ Sun is the one who had to actively say he and Neptune weren't going to hang with Team RWBY because everything constantly blows up when they're around. And he's clearly fine. They've both survived worse. ]

You should definitely ask what those are for, by the way. I mean, it's harmless since they're already hatched but you don't want to be responsible for enabling some weird black magic ritual involving dragon egg shells.

I just do it. People request things from the Fayren forest and I get it. Doesn't matter what it is. [Clearly, since he went after dragon egg shells while a sleeping dragon was there.]

Yep. Getting things from the forest in Fayren is. [It really isn't an easy line of work, but he definitely loves it.]

Apparently not. It seemed pretty angry that I put the bunny ears on it. [Or it was just angry that he was in its cave.]

Yes, I took eggshells. No, I didn't ask, the Dragon isn't the kind of dragon the speaks and it is more of a wild animal than anything. Didn't care about how dangerous it was. [Obviously from the picture he took.]

It's children, if it even still has them, weren't there. It was a single dragon living in a cave. For all I know, it wasn't even that dragons cave. So relax.
