Alright, so I've got some time before I gotta go to work! Is there any place around that I could train with Greninja around here? I mean...some of our attacks are kinda big and I don't wanna break anything.

Ash is wondering around Garden Park, frowning a bit as the morning crowds start to melt into the afternoon crowds. He pouts and leans back on the bench. There was no way he could train with so many people around. Especially if pokemon were a new thing. There weren't any training fields that he'd found either.

"Gah!!! I haven't trained in days!" And he was stuck here, wondering what was going on back home. Then there was Professor Sycamore, who hadn't even seen the League yet. Which meant...he didn't know about the attack on Lumiose City by Flare.

Or that Alain had won the league.

Another big side and he flops back, hanging his head over the back of the bench to stare up at the clouds.

While Ash was sitting there, he would suddenly have a Pansear run up to him and climb up on the bench and then to Ash's shoulder before starting to play with his hat.

It wouldn't be long after that that Styxx would come running after the little pokemon

"Píthikos! What are you doing?" Styxx as usual seemed more amused by the pokemon's antics then actually upset. He just hoped the pokemon wasn't bothering Ash too much.

"Hey!" Ash sat up, a rather mischievous grin on his face as he looked at the Pansear, "That's mine!" But he was laughing, trying to make a game out of trying to snatch the hat back from the little pokemon.

"Come ooon! Huh?" He paused, hanging halfway off the bench as he spotted Styxx. "We're playing a game, right?" Ash was not going to try to say that name just yet.

The Pansear jetted off Ash's shoulder, taking his hat with him and putting it on its own head. When he saw Styxx though and heard his name, he took off towards his person, climbing up onto his shoulder while Styxx laughed.

"I can see that." Styxx said with a laugh as Pansear had climbed to his shoulder with Ash's hat.

"I think you're going to have to really work to get that hat of yours back."

Ash laughed and followed after, stopping in front of Styxx and looking up at him. "I've had a lot of practice." But he can't really get at Pansear when it's sitting on Styxx so he just rubs the back of his head.

"Heh, sorry, didn't mean to distract Pansear."

"Coo!" Moments after he might flop to the bench, a small bundle of white jumps up for his attention as Shiron coos happily at Ash. He was dressed more warmly for a different climate but his smell was 100% Ash. "Shion! Oh Ash, it's you!" Exclaimed Lilie with a giggle.

Ash grunted lightly, sitting up to stare in absolute confusion at the little pokemon on his lap, "A...Vuplix?" He smiles though and pets it, never deny a pokemon proper attention.

"Huh?" Hearing his name is really what's pulls his attention away from the off color Vulpix, "Yeah it's me," He tilts his head tryign to recall her face but there really isn't a name jumping out at him.

"Uhm, heh...do I know you?"

"Oh it's okay, it's a timeline thing," laughed Lilie. "My names Lilie, and I'm from the Alola Region. It seems we're from two different timeframes. Rotom-dex and I are your classmates from that area."

"This little one is Shiron, my Vulpix. She's an ice type from the Alola Region."

Wait something's missing... "Where's Pikachu?"

That explained a lot! Ash relaxed, continuing to scratch Shiron under the chin, "Classmate...ah! I can't believe I go to school." And there were no gyms or leagues in Alola. Ash was still pretty unsure how he even got there but he wasn't going to doubt a new adventure.

"It's great to met you! Uhm even a little early."

At the mention of his best friend, Ash's face fell just a bit, "He's not here. Most of my team isn't actually. I just have Greninja with me." Which made sense considering a lot of things but, he really did miss everyone. "You haven't seen any other pokemon around from Kalos have you?"

Is greninja a water type? I need to clear out the rubble and sort the ash to make a garden, should be enough space for training, eh. And it doesn't matter if you break anything there, I already incinerated most of it.

I believe there are certain places that allow for fighting. I've never been to them, however, but I know where they are.

For any kind really. There are no places just for pokemon battles.

But the purpose of them still works, all the same, you can have battles without damaging anything.

Works for me! One on one's probably the best way to practice anyway.

Still, there's all kinds of places that'd work! Forests, fields... pretty much anywhere where there aren't people around. It'll be easy to find a spot!

[Mirajane was finishing polishing a bar glass and pulls out her dark ball with a certain legendary ghost dragon inside, throwing Ash a playful wink.]

Tell me, how strong do you think your strongest pokemon is?

[She might have a slightly unfair advantage when it came to training her pokemon since she could turn into just about any living thing, and many forms of demons, but she'd prefer to let them train against something where she doesn't have to worry about holding back her punches.]
