[Takeru was taking a day off work, or at least was taking advantage of being given a day off because of the photoshoot previously on a day he shouldn't have been in. But he had found that day to be fun more than anything after all a special someone was the one who did the pictures and he enjoyed the time because of it.

But for now, Takeru was leaning back on the couch, the sound of the television was going on in the background, it was at this moment in time background noise. On his lap sat his Zorua, the other two Pokemon he kept were currently chilling on the top of the sofa. After a brief moment, Takeru waved slightly. He had a purpose and now was the time to actually say something.]

Hello, I have a very important question I need to ask, to help someone special to me.

[He smiled slightly for a moment.]

My... well uh... girlfriend [Still so very, very strange to admit after 10 days of dating. He was to use to them having been friends this whole time. But he continues on even with his thoughts.] Hikari is planning a little trip to some hot springs she heard about. She hasn't been here for long and she could use some friends that aren't a bad influence at times.

[Anyone is free to figure out who that might be in reference to, only one person knows for sure.]

So I figured I would ask the girls I know and maybe anyone I might not if they might be interested in going with my fri...girlfriend? I have to stop saying friend. [He sighed slightly.]

Thank you for listening and hope to hear from people soon about that. [He honestly wasn't sure what he was going to be doing on that day, but Zorua shifted himself slightly moving to make sure he was more comfortable in his lap.]

As for me, I guess I would need to plan on doing something with people, I just have no clue as to what. [He couldn't help but laugh slightly.]

Guess I'll figure that out on the day. [A pause.] Oh, for those that helped me with cooking stuff I do have a present for you lot, just let me know when to bring it to you and I will deliver it.

[He smiled before switching off.]

Action; Around Genessia
[Even though he wasn't meant to be working today didn't stop the young man from going to the coffee shop and grabbing a hot drink and sandwich for lunch instead of cooking back at home. He had another reason for his trip out and it was his three pokemon. Zorua, Chatot, and Emolga were all with him getting out and about. He didn't want them to get lazy after all.

However, there was one thing Takeru was never good at and that was keeping them in line. Chatot was the first to fly on ahead, causing Takeru to give chase so he couldn't get too far away from him.]

Chatot, get back here. [Chatot himself seem to instead find himself flying around other people. He may or may not be trying to see if someone has food.]

I'm sorry about him.

[She would have been far more inclined to agree with that if it wasn't so enabling.]

[On the other hand...]

How sweet of you, darling. [Years of practice at their past "friendly" banter allowed her to maintain a (mostly) straight face as she said it.] But what about you? Is there anything I can do in return?

[He paused, he was actually thinking about it for a moment. There wasn't anything he really wanted and he didn't mind that really. Keeping a straight face the whole time, it was kind of easy to do after all the times they do this kind of thing.]

There is nothing, I really so. Just your happiness my little kitten. [Emolga was trying once again to fly up and lands on his head, causing the man to glance up for a moment.]

Buuuut, I'm sure Emolga wants your attention.

[Inwardly biting back a laugh, she calmly nodded.]

Of course, Pooh Bear.

[Then, leaning forward, she turned her focus to his pokemon friend before the little guy burst from a lack of her full attention.]

Hey, Emolga. Are you two having a good day?

[Takeru was trying his hardest to not laugh at that one. What the heck, Hikari? Emogla himself didn't seem to notice Takeru trying not to laugh as he was soon right in front of the device. He wasn't sure where she was currently and seemed to be trying to figure it out.]

As good as it can be on a day off. About to take them for a walk so they can stretch, hope they don't run off and cause chaos. Things like that.

[He smiled happily.]

I could always come by your place of work with a coffee if you want, sweetie?

[Hey, you started this, Takeru.]

[Victory had been so close, too. She could tell he was close to losing it. Which...to be fair...she kind of was, too. In the past, whenever they started up, they'd manage a few quick exchanges before somebody cut them off. Public as the network might have been, she knew there would be nobody but themselves to stop this time.]

A coffee would be wonderful, pookie. [For once, she wasn't going to argue the thought of him going out of his way for her. It would serve him right. Although...after a slight pause, a memory came to her, and she gave a slight involuntary shudder.] Just as long as it doesn't contain twenty-seven shots of expresso this time.

[Takeru paused, that... was a very, very odd request to ask for. He wasn't planning on putting that many in, he was pretty sure that could do really bad things to a person. Not the best idea. Not even for a joke.]

I won't, cuddle muffin. Though question. Why that exact number to not add? I mean I wouldn't anyway because that is way too much. So I have to ask.

It’s a long story, sugar bun. [Though not so long she couldn’t squeeze another joke pet name in there. Even as she sighed.] I’ll tell you when you get here.

Very well my queen. I shall come over with a coffee that isn't...that caffeine filled. Doubt Mookbucks would do that kind of thing anyway.

[He was already on his way, getting off the couch, grabbing keys as Emolga was on his hat, Chato had flown to land on his shoulder and Zorua was hot at his heels.]

Will take about an hour or so.

I'll be here, my King.

[She sent him one last, warm smile and wave before disconnecting the feed. Taking the time and care to put her communicator down and making sure no one else was around to hear...]

[...before bursting into a fit of laughter.]

[When the feed switched off, he found himself laughing for a time. Though if he was sure people were watching, he was quick to stop collecting the coffee along the way, he headed to her place of work.

It was an hour or so before he finally got there, waving slightly.]

Hikari, I brought coffee exactly as ordered.

[She glanced up from her current assignment, face breaking into a warm smile at the sight of him in the door. Even going so far as to wave back.]

I was actually starting to get a little tired, so this is perfect timing.

[And, to emphasize her point, she stiffened an oncoming yawn.]

Then the coffee will help.

[He smiled as he made his way over, holding it out for her to take.]

I got it made in the way you like it.

[She accepted the cup with an extremely grateful look, holding it with both hands as she took a sip. The hot liquid splashed across her taste buds, filling her mouth with the rich, sweet flavor. Exactly the amount of sugar she used. It trickled down her throat when she sealed, and she let out a satisfied sigh before looking back to him.]

Perfect.

Definitely an improvement over the Professor’s. [A small shiver wracked her at the memory.] I’ve never met anyone who drank that much caffeine in a single drink before.

How much caffeine was that then?

[He was pretty sure she hadn't mentioned it before as he went to stand by the counter, looking over at her for the time being as his Pokemon had chosen to wonder or fly around, except Emolga who flew over to Hikari and stayed nearby her.]

[She kelt down at Emolga's approach, giving the little guy a pat and scratch on the head in greeting.]

Enough that I was shaking after two sips. It took me almost half an hour to stop, too.

Oh, wow. Yeah, that's gonna be a lot then.

[At least she was okay, he was relieved about that at least.]

At least nothing too bad happened then.

Either I was lucky, or else the Professor noticed right away. He's the one who switched out the cups when he realized what had happened.

...considering the fact that he'd not only forgotten which one was his, as well as where they came from, I'm almost tempted to think the former.

At least now we know to be careful if there are two cups that look exactly the same. Maybe Moonbucks should find ways to make different coffees look different.

Is Moonbucks the only place to get coffee, or is it just the one we always get ours from because you work there?

[She hadn't really considered it until that moment. Mostly because it was true; she really had no other reason to go somewhere else. Their coffee was really good, if a bit on the pricy side...but Takeru was always making her cups anyway, so on the rare occasion she went there and he wasn't working, she didn't mind paying a little extra.]

Only because he genuinely seemed like he couldn't remember. It made me wonder how many other coffee shops there might be, if someone gets that confused.

I like the think it's the latter. If it was the first one, then we'd have a lot more customers. [At least he was sure he had seen other places, plus he added cafes and places where you can get coffee too to that.]

Odds are likely there is one on every corner.

I'm sure there's not that many, Takeru.

If you count cafes and such, you'd be surprised at the possible numbers.

But you're right probably not as high as I make it out to be.

[She let out a contemplative hum at that, taking the time for another healthy sip of her drink all the while.]

Maybe.

That might be a fun thing to do sometime. Visit a bunch of different cafes and see how they're different from one another.

Not all on the same day though.

[That would be a very bad idea.]

How about we pick two on a day soon and have fun going to them and see what they are like?

[She certainly hadn't meant all on the same day, but since he voiced as much aloud, she let out a small giggle. She might have been a Yagami, but she certainly didn't have her brother's stomach.]

I like that idea a lot. We can make it an ongoing cafe tour.
