NEWSPAPER - BIWEEKLY EDITION
[Did you subscribe to The Genessia Tribune? Did you even remotely wish you had a newspaper or some other form of media to refer to for news, weather, and current events? Then you're in luck! There's a paperboy riding through the streets of Genessia flinging newspapers onto doorsteps or, if you're unlucky, through your window. Even remote locations in the other cities will still get a paper if one of the residents ever wanted one. The Paperboy is just that dedicated.]

City Bounties
In light of Cassian Andor's PSA, the Genessia Tribune would like to say it doesn't and has never condoned excessive use of force when bringing in a bounty. While bounties it's a general assumption that bounties, especially the more violent ones, will come in with injuries. However, bounties coming in with obvious excessive amounts of them with no justification for them is not something that can just be allowed to happen.
A recent case of this has been a bounty turned in by Namur in Nova City. The bounty was turned in with broken hands. The bounty was captured in a bar with video cameras that show he was already subdued before this happened. This is not something that can continue to happen.
We at the Genessia Tribune are discussing changing the way people access bounties. A QR like image will be placed in the bounty section. Once scanned, a list of the available bounties will be displayed on your device. Upon first use, you will be prompted to enter a name. Any name can be used, but it will be permanently tied to your device. Any time you scan and view a bounty, this will be logged. When you take one, it will be logged as well. If a person is believed to have committed some sort or crime or brutalized their bounty with no justification, they will be banned from accessing bounties in the future.
Should these changes go through, we hope that it will help to stop these sort of things from happening again. However, we will only take these steps if the Guardians of the city don't step in to do something themselves.

Holodeck'd: Game Time is open in Nova City. This new establishment is like the much used Holodeck'd training facility, but this new version is done up like a medieval fantasy role play game with levels and classes like one might encounter when playing that type of game. More information on what can be expected can be found at the establishment itself.
This reporter has already spent several hours playing and had enjoyed himself. My girlfriend, however, isn't happy with the fact that I ignored several calls. I'm unsure if I even still have a girlfriend at this point.

The All Naturals – The All Naturals are a gang of Health Food lovers that are tired of people eating junk food and poisoning their bodies. They have vowed that if people want to die so much, then they are happy to help them along. A level 2 payment is being offered for each of their captures.
Tofu – Ties people up and force feeds people Tofu for hours.
Broccoli – Boyfriend of Apple. Has a vegetable launcher that shoots vegetables at high speed to injure people.

Tree of Woe - A black magic user in Everglade has used their magic on tree seeds for wicked purposes. They put the seed in people and make a tree grow around them. It feeds on their life force as it does and mutates into a tree like monster. The magic user is still being located, but the tree monsters need to be handled. There are four of them roaming around and a level 2 payment is being placed on each one.

The Element Knights - A criminal group of magic users have dubbed themselves the Element Knights for use of their armor and weapons. They use their magic on their equipment to give it an affinity for the element that they wield. Though when they aren't wearing it, it's just regular armor and weapons.
Flame Knight - Has a sword and shield. When using his magic, his armor as well as weapons erupt into flames.
Electric Knight - Has a crossbow. When using it, his magic imbues the weapon with electricity bolts that strike fast.
Water Knight - Uses a trident and can be found near large bodies of water. When using his magic, he can control water and use it as a shield.
Air Knight - Has twin short swords. When using his magic, he becomes fast and can slice through people in the blink of an eye.
Earth Squire - uses a war hammer. When using his magic, rock armor in cases him and protects him from attacks.
Electric Knight - Has a crossbow. When using it, his magic imbues the weapon with electricity bolts that strike fast.

Title: Heartless Killer Claims Victim
Info: The body of 28-year-old Allen Willows was discovered washed up on the riverbank in Everglade on April 4th in the early morning. The victim's cause of death appears to be several brutal blows to the back of the head, causing the skull to fracture in multiple places. Willows's chest cavity appeared to be sliced open with a sharp instrument, likely a knife, and his heart was no longer there. Police are searching the riverbanks upstream for clues that might identify the killer, but as of yet they have been unable to locate the approximate site where the body was dumped. No witnesses have stepped forward at this time. Willows was last seen leaving his home to meet with friends at the local pub, but according to the proprietor, he never arrived. While residents are urged to take precautions, there appears to be little alarm given the nature of Everglade and its more gruesome denizens. "I don't know what more we can do," beleagured patrolman John Griffon said in an earlier interview. "The citizens wear crosses, carry holy water, and I'm pretty sure everyone's got some sort of silver weapon on them. You can't protect yourself against every unholy horror in this place. This sort of thing just happens. People die, monsters eat them. I hate to say that we're used to it, but it's common to wake up one morning and find out your neighbor's just a greasy smear on your front lawn."

Title: Fire in the Sky Contained
Info: Nova City's high in the sky luxury apartment complex Skyhouse Network experienced a fire on Wednesday. The fire took place in the apartment of former Nova City Guardian Mercury Black and his roommate, Emerald Sustrai. Emerald Sustrai was not found anywhere near the scene of the fire and was unable to be found for questioning. It appears that the fire was started from within the apartment and many of the possessions were removed before the apartment went up in flames.
The owner of Skyhouse Network stated that the fire was contained from the get-go, given that the apartments are built using state of the art burn-free materials, same as are used in standard construction of government buildings, schools, and other Nova City buildings. It was an interior-only fire and the worst of the damage done was scorch marks.
"Needless to say, the previous tenants will not be getting their deposit back," said owner Opal Sparrow, "Continuing and future tenants of the Network can be assured that all safety functions within the complex are working perfectly, and no one should experience problems due to the arson."
