[Edward flailed in his pod for a bit before calming down, and taking stock of his surroundings. He wasn't dead? That's great news! But where's Lydia? He looked around the Bay trying to spot his sister. And seeing no sign of her, for a moment, he felt alone for the first time in a long time.]

[He looked through everything he had -money, how quaint- before wandering off. He didn't bother listening to the hologram, more focused on the device in his hand than anything or anyone else around him.]

Edward~ Look at your map, find a city called Everglade, and meet me by the clearly marked woods. Promise it'll be worth your while~

[He grinned, piecing together what she did.]

[It took him a bit to actually get to said woods though, but here he was.]

The moment he's getting there, she's hopping down from a tree branch and just grabbing and hugging him for a brief moment. Oops, what the actual hell is she up to right now.]

I was wondering how long it'd take you to end up here, there was just no way I'd stay here by myself for too long, right?~ [S t o p.

But she is turning and motioning for him to follow her into these dark ridiculous woods.]

I managed to find a little abandoned place and spruced it up a bit in here. I do have a few guards around it just in case, I think one of my darlings should be easy enough to spot. [Given it's a gigantic fucking Aurorus? Yeah, probably.]

[He hugged her back, because while he wasn't alone long, the time he was alone made him miss her.]

I heard you've been in a bit of trouble recently~ What have you been getting up to without me?

Oh, you know. Someone asked me to make a point about something and evidently the people here aren't fond of seeing someone on the ground missing an eye and a limb. The usual~ [Which is nothing, really, in their case.

Right, the aurorus. Who is just kind of eying Edward before lowering his head down to Lydia who is just happily petting his snout with a small grin. ... It's also a hell of a lot colder than before, oops.]

I believe they called him a pokemon, Aurorus or something. I call him Keats, he's a big gentle sweetheart. There's two others around here, but they're much smaller and better at hiding~

[Edward rolled his eyes.]

Keats...[He shivered, but slowly reached over to try and pet the pokemon as well.] A gentle sweetheart, huh? That name suits him.

[Hopefully Edward doesn't mind having that snout pushed more into his hand with a pleased low noise from the ridiculous creature, oops. But he's pausing for a moment to look off to his side at two other figures moving closer. One being a shiny pheromosa and the other... a hilarious clone of Edward, oops.

Which Lydia kind of forgot was a thing.]

... Ah.

[He didn't mind at all. The creature may not be Keats, but he was Keats. He looked at the other creature and the clone.]

[That was kind of a judgy tone.]

I know imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but seriously who is that?

[How dare you judge her, Edward, it's not like she knew he'd end up here at any point!]

I'm sure you can guess his name, though he can drop the act. [That's a good keyword given that clone is now a black and red fluffy fox looking thing instead.]

I think someone said his breed was a zoroark or some such, very, very smart creatures. Illusions seem to be their thing as well, meaning he's been very useful for me~

You've replaced me with a...zoroark?

[If Lydia were anyone else, he'd actually be insulted and pissy, but she was Lydia. So he just sighed.]

You can't have thought he would've been a very good replacement for me, could you?
