[A figure dressed in black will appear suddenly, the air cracking with energy around him. He pushes back his hood, revealing bright blonde curls and a magnetic smile. Yet the expression isn't entirely kind nor is it settling. It's possible that this new arrival is actually furious.]

...against my wishes...? [He is impressed by the gall even as his mind works rapidly to counter it.] Do you know who I am?

[It doesn't really matter. He must press onward. The blue of his eyes sharpens.] Where might I find the Magical community? Don't say there isn't one. Witches and Wizards exist everywhere, but they are too accustomed to hiding.

(Lydia
Edward)

[Hopefully no one is surprised to see the sight of a skeleton back on the network, one that is probably the same one as always. Though this time any mirth and amusement has died out to look... almost bored. In the background is the familiar garish sight of a raffle wheel and another skeletal figure. Along with yet another body that has probably been through the same amount as ones before.

Which is why she's merely sighing, voice once again magically modulated in an attempt to be as unfamiliar as possible to her normal.]

I was going to make some grand gesture about how Everglade's guardian is another in a long line of those willing to look the other way and remain as status quo as possible, but that’s so... cliche and boring at this point, isn't it?

[All that fervor and heat from before is just... gone.]

I’ll put it this way, I'm-- we're bored.

[The other skeleton decided to pipe in here.]

After all, there are only so many of these fake people that we can play with before things get old. So we're opening up our little game to some new players~ If any care to show up anyway~

[He gets close to the other skeleton and, more importantly, the camera as he talked. His inability to be sincere or even acted showed through here as he he was a bit more animated than his sister, as though trying to overly demonstrate his boredom.]

[Oh, she's biting back a laugh at that, a bony hand covering her mouth.]

As he said, we're... looking for some people that might be interested in playing with us~ It’s a fair enough game, I think. You find us, you play a few of our games to show us just how much you're willing to sacrifice in order to win whatever you name, and if you manage to get through them... Then you win. Simple enough and just that straightforward. The only catch to it is that, well, if you don’t say stop then we don't guarantee you'll make it out alive or with your sanity intact. Just a danger of the game, after all.

[She's glancing over to her brother and just grinning at him.]

Did you have anything else to add?

[He is grinning right back.]

Not really. Just... Come and get us, baby~

[A familiar face shows up on the network. Jaune's eyes may be bloodshot from denying the existence of sleep, but he seems pretty excited about something.]

Hi Genessialings. I've noticed that there's been a severe lack of fanworks among our community. So I got my crayons out and thought, why not change that? I've started with a webcomic dedicated to two of my closest friends! But enough details have been changed for privacy purposes.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy it!

[And there's a link to it. Be forewarned.]
cut to save your reading lists and eyes... )

How about anyone else? Any of you a fan of someone here? Maybe you even ship them?

[Edward is back to normal if the face on the screen is any indication.]

Ah, I am so glad to be back to normal! Although I must say...That was kind of a rude way to welcome someone into this world. Turning my sister and I into children again, the nerve!

[He didn't sound angry about it though, his voice was actually light and bouncy.]

Still, I guess I can't say this world is terribly boring, can I?

Action (Dracula's Castle)
[The dawn of the eighth day. Having been confined to the castle since his 'rescue', Soma had been using 'his' room, sleeping in 'his' bed, and growing gradually more fearful. What was that monster that looked like his father? How had it plucked him from his feet and thrown him from the room? Why had it acted as if he was somehow beneath its attention?

The first light of morning brought answers. It also brought memories, and wisdom, and pain, and the knowledge that virtually half his own life had been a lie. He had always been what he was now.

And that knowledge brought rage. Black, midnight rage. A roar very like that of Dracula himself echoes through the castle, and may even be heard throughout Everglade. Someone has awoken from a dream of happiness and potential, and he is most definitely not happy.]

Video
[It's been a little while, and the initial wave of anger has passed. Soma looks... pretty damn awful, to be honest. Drained. Gray. Pale, even for him.]

Does anyone have advice for someone who's just learned that they've been lied to by the people closest to them for half their life? I could... really use some.

Video; April 2nd; Good Winry
[Winry fiddled with the device she looked a little concerned as she finally held it in place. She soon gives a little sigh before speaking.]

Hi, guys. Um, I may have a teenie tiny little problem. You see, I have another me running around and she isn't home. She's not very nice either, quick to anger, really nasty. So I figured I should warn you in case you bump into her.

[She turned her head slightly, she probably was focusing on something that was behind her.]

I should go, the Pokemon are upset. I need to take care of them and reassure them that it's okay.

[And she quickly switches off the feed.]

Action; Genessia; Bad Winry
[Winry seemed mildly annoyed. Arms folded over her chest as she looked around. There wasn't much to do really, work was something she didn't want to do because she lacked some parts, which meant having to trail a long distance to get those.

She wondered why she was still working there when she figured she was really working a lot more than she might have back home. But for the time being, she was keeping her distance, eyes looking around at the people so happy. That was also annoying.

She soon found herself getting into an argument with someone who bumped into her.]

Watch where you are going!

Action; Genessia; Good Winry
[The other Winry had left the Pokemon in the care of someone she trusted as she herself headed out to look for the other, but soon found herself distracted when there was someone in need. Walking on over, her hands behind her back, giving off a small but reassuring smile she figured to check if everything is okay.]

Hey, do you need help?

02 April 2018 @ 12:07 am
[Okay, so maybe seeing a sort of familiar face but clearly younger than anyone is familiar with is a little jarring. Particularly since there’s some cursing (the general words one might expect) in what is probably an older form of Elvish before there’s the camera settling on some sort of post.

Lydia’s huffing softly to herself and standing back a bit, clothing… somehow different, too, more what most might think of for common peasants in some fantasy scape or some shit.]

So this is new. [Well, okay.] Edwaaaaard, have you found anything worth anything or is there still just forest outside?

Nothing yet! [An aggravated huff. A smaller Edward came into view, focused on his sister.] I’ve been looking forever, the closest to anything is a dumb path. [That may be something, Ed. To be fair though, he wasn’t as focused for a way out as something else.] I can’t find any sign of Keats though...

Have you figured out how to work that...thing, yet? [He motioned to the device.]

[A path is... kind of important, yes. She’s turning away from the camera for a second with a frown, this isn’t good.]

Keats can’t have gotten far, right? [And not long after she says that there’s a rather large aurorus poking his head down from the cover of nearby trees to snuffle at her hair which in turn has her almost jumping out of her skin and backing off.]

What is that!

Ri-Ah![He jumped too when the giant pokemon showed up.] I don’t know! Let’s get out of here! [He reached out for his sister’s hand as he was already starting to nope away.]

[Luckily she’s following after him, grabbing the device as they go. So that’s... still kind of on and it seems to be that they’re heading towards Everglade.]

[Replies may come from one or both of the twins, also feel free to make this action in Everglade if you wish. \o\]

[Action]

[Edward flailed in his pod for a bit before calming down, and taking stock of his surroundings. He wasn't dead? That's great news! But where's Lydia? He looked around the Bay trying to spot his sister. And seeing no sign of her, for a moment, he felt alone for the first time in a long time.]

[He looked through everything he had -money, how quaint- before wandering off. He didn't bother listening to the hologram, more focused on the device in his hand than anything or anyone else around him.]

So this thing's like a stone of far speech then?

Live from -What's this place again- Genessia! It's me, Edward! Quick question before we begin: Has anyone seen my cohost and sister, Lydia? It's so hard to put on a good show without her.
