The Song of a New World Resonates Around Me [Log]
Who: Nephenee and Leanne, and Nephenee and YOU
Where: The Bay & Genessia City
When: Backdated to March 21st
What: A human-turned-pony-turned-human gets tossed into yet another world...and is wandering around fairly aimlessly
Rating: T for Teen so far? Do Ponyized bad words still count as swearing?
[Arrival/Locked to Leanne]
When Nephenee had gone to bed, snuggled under the hooves of her husband in their tent, her wings draped around him in some semblance of a pegasus hug, she'd been terribly excited about their mission, and after that they cold go to their new home in the nexus world of Rhydin. As far as she was concerned, they'd earned it: they'd saved the world, she'd earned the status of Princess of Compassion and Element of Valor, and gone through hell multiple times doing so. But tomorrow was tomorrow, so she finally drifted off, safe and warm and happy, the sound of falling snow and Morgan's breathing lulling her into happy dreams.
...What she heard upon waking was not any of these. The quiet noise of water lapping against rock echoed in the room, and everything felt...fuzzy. Horribly so, to the point where the first thing she felt was panic. Why was it so hard to wake up, to open her eyes? Why didn't she sense Morgan or Cirno? And what was she in??
Panic brought adrenaline which brought strength, and she threw back the cover of the cocoon, silk flying as she did. The lights of the pool illuminated the cavern faintly, and Nephenee panted as she took it all in. Cavern, cold, lights, metal, height wait why am Ah taller...and she looked to see her fingers trembling under her vambraces. That's right...they'd been camping and she'd insisted on wearing the armor to bed because of the mission. But...she'd been an alicorn then...not a human.
"...M-Morgan?? C-Cirno??" Her uneasy voice reverberated back to her, and the realization settled on her: she was in another world, and possibly alone. It took her a few minutes to calm herself, looking over the damned device and instructions and necklace as she tried to keep the panic from growing, took stock of her own items while she was here. Armor, weapons, circlet, her own device from...where was it from? She wasn't sure. But it was important, and had its cord and everything with it.
Taking it all up, using her lance to steady herself, the Sentinel wobbled to the mouth of the cave...and into the bay proper, where she promptly tripped on a rock and fell.
And that's when Nephenee found herself yelling. "What. The. Buck!?"

After speaking to an old friend from Tellius and gaining some of her bearings back, the now-human lancer walked through the streets of the city, trying to take it all in. She remembered feeling a little like this when she'd first come to Equestria, but Equestria wasn't exactly modern by any stretch. She'd seen videos and heard talk of some of the things she might see on Earth, but it was a different thing entirely to experience it.
It rather doesn't help when she's still a bit unsteady on her feet. It'd been two-and-a-half years since she had been a human again, after all.
Overall, the sight of a green-haired woman in medieval armor and enough weapons for a shop attached to her in various ways might be a little unnerving, or at least odd. And judging by her trying not to trip and general air, she's..probably not used to the place. At all.
Help a girl out?

"L-Leanne!?" Well, at least there's someone she knows here, and that's a bit comforting. She can't help but give her little bird sister the biggest hug back, laughing at those noises. "Whacha doin' outta Tellius?"
