5th Shot [Video?/Action Later in the week?]
[A curious raven haired twelve year old is peering into her device with wide blue eyes behind wire rimmed glasses that might be a little too large for her. She keeps sliding them up her nose but, also wasn't about to take them off either. She was tilting the phone left and right and for a moment there was a shot of some trees before it gave a quick view of a nice outdoor area which just might be a park and then back to the girl's freckled face.
She shyly brushed some long hair behind her ears and still looked a little unsure of the thing in her hand. What was it and what was it doing. Eventually she got the idea that she could speak into it...like some sort of telephone. At least that's what she's figured with the few conversations she's had so far.]
Zo...vhere am I? I don't recognize anyzhing around here.
[Strangely enough, she wasn't asking about her parents like the rest of the children on the network were.]
Und vhy iz zhere candy eggs everyvhere?
[She might just have a few in her lap right now along with a lavender stuffed bunny at her side. ]
[Action! Later in the week.]
[Later in the week, once Rip's back to her adult self after who knows what kind of Shenanigans, she's finally resting again in her own home and absently finds another one of those annoying eggs. Unfortunately, that egg is the last thing she sees before everything goes black. She's taken by surprise and drops the egg and hears the tell tale crack of eggshells as she backs away.
Whatever just happened, Rip couldn't see anymore. And that...actually scared her as she stumbled over something and nearly fell on her ass. She just barely manages to catch herself and feel her way to a seat.
Sometime later, Rip can be seen in front of her apartment complex in Genessia City, just sitting outside late at night. She wanted to be outside and being on the ground was probably a safer option than the balcony or the roof with her current lack of sight. It also meant that anyone could approach her and unless she heard them, she wouldn't know they were approaching her....

video
[A young girl who looks and sounds suspiciously like Rip... but hush. Eliot isn't going to draw any conclusion just yet.]
It seems you've woken up in Genessia. And on a rather eventful day, no less.
Re: video
Guten Tag...Iz zhat zhe name of zhis place? Vhy is today an eventful one?
no subject
So I believe that means April Fool's Day is cancelled! We're safe this year!
no subject
[She frowns a little, not..really realizing how cute she looks doing so and pushes her sliding down glasses back up.]
But.. it vasn't close to zhat last I remember? Um, are you sure about zhat? Und vhy vould April Fool's Day be cancelled? Vhy are zhe on zhe same day?
no subject
Ah, and my apologies. I hadn't realized... You seem new here. To Genessia? It's an unfortunate thing to say, but this place seems to kidnap us from our home worlds. It's April 1st today.
no subject
[If anything she might look a little shyer now that she realized she wasn't anywhere near home and that she's been apparently kidnapped.]
Vhy vould zhey kidnap uz? Are zhey going to put uz to vork or zomething?
no subject
In fact. You should have a key on your person that will grant you access to free, temporary housing. Do you have that key with you?

later in the week (Bitty Eliot)
[A small blond boy has spotted someone who looks to be a safe and easy option. It's a lady who doesn't seem to be looking anywhere in particular... in the dead of night!
Maybe a normal child would then think "It's the dead of night. I should go home," but that isn't an option for Eliot. He remembers himself to be homeless, afraid of the workhouse, and determined to survive on his own. One way to survive would be to pickpocket people like Rip.
So he tiptoes over... only to step clumsily on a branch and make a loud cracking sound.]
... mmrrgh. [He covers his mouth and watches her carefully.]
Re: later in the week (Bitty Eliot)
Vho's zhere?
[Despite the fact that she should be able to see him, she definitely didn't. A good hint that she was blind to the little would be thief.]
no subject
Still, he knows not to move. She must have good hearing to have turned her head to face him perfectly.]
... Lady, are you blind? [He tilts his head.] Did they leave you here to die?
no subject
By his scent...and sound of the voice, that was a child, wasn't it. And he felt familiar against her other senses but, different enough where she couldn't place it. What she did know is whoever this child was, he was human.]
Yes, I'm blind und no, zhey did not leave me to die. I'm harder to kill zhan most realize, even blind.
no subject
Yeah, me too! I'm not gonna die easily like the others did.
[Marching forward now, the little boy seems more relaxed. It occurs to him that Rip might live here and be out of his social class (most people are,) but he's determined to show her he's a tough and brave soul too.] These houses look expensive and biiig. Do you live here?
no subject
Even blind, her movements were still a little..predatory. But, she wasn't hungry and even in her state she was wary about attacking someone out in the open just because she didn't know if there were others watching she couldn't sense yet. So, little Eliot was more or less... safe from Rip while she was like this.]
Ozhers? It sounds like you are quite zhe little survivor.
[There was definite amusement in her voice as she gets a better sense of the child. And yet, there was still something nagging her about him]
Do zhey? Hm.. you could say I live here. I stay vith my lovers in zhe apartments currently.
no subject
When she mentions lovers, he makes quite the face. There's an unashamed note of disappointment in his voice, making the same almost comical face in the form of a sound:]
Oh. Lovers, huh? Lucky you.
[Though the feeling is split, it's very loud and plain: The little library doesn't know if even he is more jealous or disappointment... An adult can probably tell that he's jealous. After all, this kid has literally no one to like him, let alone love him.]
So we're not the same after all... Well. I guess it's not your fault you're happy.

[Hana hummed] But you're... not at home, you're just in a place-a safe place, though, at least.
Re: [video]
How are eggs dangerous? Especially Chocolate ones?
[Rip might be a little confused.]
Iz zhis place really safe?
Re: [video] (Good joke Hana)
But..some of the eggs can turn on you, from attacking you, taking your senses, coloring your hair..a lot of bad things that can happen.
There are some good things, though, like chocolate and toys..true..but...
[Hana paused, thinking more] ..Well..safe because you're safe. It isn't chaotic here.
Re: [video]
...I zhink I vant more of zhe eggs vith toys und chocolate in zhem.
[Such a typical kid.]
Huh, if zhat's vat safe iz... zhen I guess so?
[Action] Later in the week
Re: [Action] Later in the week
Besides it beat tripping over items in her own apartments...or allowing certain people to see her life this. So, when Jenny approached, Rip paused and tilted her head as something caught her attention. A scent? A noise? She didn't know what just yet.]
Halo? Iz zhere someone zhere?
[She was already holding herself still and just trying to feel out whether the person approaching was a friend or stranger. She hadn't made any enemies here yet so she doubted that was an option at the moment.]
Re: [Action]
Hello. You seem to be enjoying yourself out here?
[Jenny had taken immediate notice when Rip asked that question while Jenny was right in front of her that Rip couldn't see. How interesting. For now at least, she seemed to sound friendly enough.]
Re: [Action]
It feels like a beautiful night, zo how can I resist being outside?
[Even as she turned her head to look at the source of the voice, she her eyes definitely weren't focusing. ]
Re: [Action]
It is, isn't it. But a shame you can't see it, yeah?
Re: [Action]
[Se already figured this was a temporary thing. It just came with waiting it out.]
