[ After getting familiar with Genessia City and asking some questions of Schnee Company, there's no reason including mass egg chaos for Robert not to look around the other cities, so that he can be at least a little familiar. And Lydia's description of Everglade had been... intriguing. In a "he'll either enjoy it there or never want to go back to it" way.

He needn't have worried. It didn't seem anything like the Shadow Realm, more like something out of a horror story instead, which is fine. And when he sees two children in the fog he doesn't see a reason not to approach.

One of them recognizably being Lydia is a bit of a surprise, though he didn't know her well enough to think she should have known better. ~~And later in the week he won't be able to talk anyway.~~ ]

[Once they're out of the forest, Lydia's catching her breath, forcing Edward to slow down at the very least. Though at the sound of her name, her ear is flicking a bit, far too much like an animal's before she's looking up to investigate where it came from. ...
