3rd song ; Voice ; Forward dated to 04/02
[The voice recording starts off with some pained whimpers and the sound of footsteps.]
Is that why they made Mommy gain a red color? [The voice was that of a small girl and clearly one that is in a great deal of physical pain] Mommy and Daddy shouldn't be hard to find. People say I look a lot like Mommy. Leanne is okay.... The red color might have hurt me a little.
Well, let's make sure that you're not hurt any more. Leanne? Is that your name? My name is Lothar. [An adult male's voice can be heard very close, keeping a calm tone throughout the conversation.]
Would they be able to make sure I am not hurt? My lord Lothar? That's a strange name.
[The sound of footsteps were picking up as it sounds like someone was starting to hurry.]
Yes, little Leanne, exactly that. Well, I do come from some place very, very far away. My name must sound strange to everyone, then.
[The next few words start muffled as if the owner was clinging to another even tighter as more and more pained whimpers can be heard. Soon it sounds like they have entered a building and then a room. The shifting of cloth can then be heard and then the sounds of footsteps leaving and a door opening a closing. It wasn't long after the sound of the door close comes the next sound... A sound that anyone who was a parent would ever dread hearing, the crying of a child in true complete and utter pain. All the shrieks and cries for her mother and father along with the cry.]
[OOC: Red is Rendain and it may take Leanne a while before she can respond without the crying.]

Leanne?
[The old king is in shock.]
Leanne?! [He quickly pieces this mystery together. Regis is positively seething now.] Where have you taken her?
Answer me.
no subject
[ Finally, someone that recognises her — but considering the nature of how everything was broadcast, Rendain's fairly certain he's going to have to deflect all manner of accusations from here on. ]
[ Joy of joys. Well, the only thing to do is be civil about this whole thing... ]
I found her wandering and bloodied in Nova City, so I took her to a clinic. She's been in great distress. [ And, if Regis can tell from the sound of his voice, he is most definitely telling the truth. Not that he has much reason to lie, anyway. ] You... wouldn't happen to be her father, would you?
no subject
Regis says a quick prayer before answering. He hopes to reach the child before others do. While he's no healer, Regis knows of those who can heal, one such person being the Oracle herself. He'll break his silence and seek out Lunafreya if need be. Prompto already alerted him of her presence here but hesitance binds him from messaging.]
Bloodied? Why? Who would harm a child so?! [He's livid. Positively livid.] Mark my words, her assailants won't live past dusk.
[His wrath cools after the following question.]
Oh, no! I'm not---
[Regis pauses briefly.]
...She is my niece. [He lies. Perhaps if he pretends to be kin, he can rescue Leanne and bring her to Ikki. Yes, that's the plan. He must contact Ikki immediately.]

[ A multimedia message pops up on shortly after on Regis' phone, tagged with Rendain's and Leanne's location via GPS. ]
She very much needs family with her now, and her brother is also on the way here. I'm sure seeing her uncle will work wonders to calm her.
[ Introductions will follow once he gets here, of course. In a situation like this, it's better to be more personal than a phone conversation. ]

My eternal thanks and many more, kind soul. I had feared for Leanne's life once I heard those dreadful screams. Strange magic is afoot here in Genessia, stranger than most.
[He will explain that last detail once he arrives.]
Her brother? [Ah, he must mean Seiya.] He is her brother by marriage. The youth before you is actually suppose to be a young lady.
It seems that Time itself has retrograde.
no subject
[ Upon hearing Regis explain everything, of course, there's a notable confusion in Rendain's voice when next he speaks. ] She... regressed into a young child? That sort of thing is possible here?
[ This place is weirder than he initially thought, and he's dealt with some pretty weird stuff. ]
Oh, but I'm keeping you; we'll have time aplenty to continue this conversation once you arrive and see your niece. I'll wait here until you and her brother-by-marriage arrive.
no subject
[This is the honest truth. Regis has seen many things unfold in the past but nothing quite like this. He's honestly quite baffled too.]
Let us speak in person. There's much to tell but first Leanne's safety takes precedent. I owe much to Leanne and her dear husband. A Caelum always keeps his oaths.
[As promised and as expected, Regis makes his debut at the trauma center dressed quite humbly in warm grays with a crisp button down shirt, a light gray sweater and a royal purple scarf slung over his shoulders. It's a bit drafty out but not enough to warrant a coat. Unlike the last time he ventured out, Regis sports his cane. That bad knee of his is still throbbing but he ignores the pain for now. He gingerly makes his way inside of the center in search for both Lothar and precious Leanne under the guise of a relative. Regis doubts anyone will let him see her otherwise and he'll pay for his white lie later.]
A moment of your time, please. [He halts one of the nurses at the desk.] I'm in search of a patient who was just admitted. A little girl with blond hair and green eyes sporting white wings.
She would look like an angel, a little cherub. Her name is Leanne.
no subject
[ "She's just down the hallway, sir," the nurse answers politely, bowing her head. "The man who brought her here informed us that her family would be coming to see her, so we've readied the room for guests." She walks around the desk and buzzes the intercom, and the doors open right after. "Please let us know if you, or she, needs anything while you're visiting." ]
[ From there, it's clear just what room Leanne's admitted into: the tall, pale-skinned alien figure that stands watch outside her door makes it easy to figure out. At the sound of Regis' steps, Rendain turns toward him, his angular features shifting into an expression of relief. ]
Leanne's uncle, I presume? [ He bows deeply in lieu of offering a handshake — the large metal prosthetic that makes up his dominant hand seems ill-suited for that, anyway. ]
no subject
Indeed, I'm Regis Lucis Caelum. [He quickly introducing with just a breath. Anxiety clings to him like a glove now.] Words cannot express how grateful I am for your assistance. I have some idea as to what transpired but I cannot fathom why someone would hurt the poor child.
[The old king let's out a sigh as he walks towards the nearest chair. He needs to rest for a moment. His thoughts are a little jumbled.]
I'm afraid that this is...a paradox, you see.
no subject
I figured this would be paradoxical right around when you mentioned age regression. [ He's dealt with some crazy stuff, Regis, but this takes the cake. ] I take it she's supposed to be much older than this?
voice;
[As if this is confusing enough (with most people in the city turning into kids no less) at least he recognized Leanne, here's the brother, who is panicking. At least he has to find out what happened to her for Ikki's sake.]
W-what? Leanne? Hey you bastard! Where you're taking my sister?
no subject
Your sister was wandering around and looked hurt. So, I've taken her to a trauma centre in Nova City. [ His tone is stern, like a teacher explaining to a younger student, though it's hard to keep the exasperation out of his voice. ]
[ The young boy soon gets sent a message with a GPS tag on it, which pinpoints their exact location. ] I didn't mean to raise any concern. I just couldn't abide by seeing a young woman left alone in that state.
no subject
[You hear that? That's a sigh of relief.]
Trauma Center?
[It's a good thing he worked in Nova City to figure out that she's in the hospital center. He sighed in relief. At least, he got the information now, so he can help Ikki find her. Nevermind why his family member are turning into kids again.]
You're not happened to be one of the doctors over there are you? What happened to her?
no subject
no subject
Please let her know her family is coming for her.
[Well, no time to wonder what happened or who did it as that adds more to the stress. He'll have to get Ikki, his big brother, informed of this event.]
no subject
... And thank you. I'm sure your presence will be a comfort to her.
no subject
LEANNE! WHERE ARE YOU?!
AH SWEAR TO CELESTIA AND EVERY GOD OUT THERE IF YOU HURT HER AH WILL END YOU.
Voice
[ Right, okay, getting into a screaming match with people that Leanne may know isn't the best of ideas. ]
[ Give him a moment to take a deep breath, Neph. ]
I... apologise. I was out of line. [ A sigh. ] I've taken Leanne to a centre in Nova City. I found her wandering and potentially injured, but she couldn't explain to me just what was wrong.
Video
[Breathe...center...focus...]
...Sorry for bitin' your head off. [She thinks for a second.]...If she's small again...she may not know why. Ah've seen this happen before, in the last world Ah was in, where sometimes weird stuff happens. Ah got shrunk to bein' a bitty once, an' couldn't remember anythin' from when Ah was older.
...Herons can...react badly to things 'round them, though. Maybe that was what did it?
Where's she at? Maybe Ah can help.
no subject
[ He's silent a moment after her explanation, lost in thought. ] She seemed to get progressively worse as we traveled... what normally constitutes this sort of reaction from her?
[ As he speaks, he sends off their exact location via a separate message. It should be easy enough for Nephenee to get to them. ]
That should have the address to the centre we're at; I'll be waiting outside of her room. I don't want to worry Leanne by pacing around.
Over to action?
Herons are...real sensitive to people an' the environment. War an' chaos is real harmful to 'em, especially. Ah've heard it can hurt 'em physically, too; not jus' the acts themselves, but people with that sorta spirit, too. They thrive in peace an' quiet.
...Probably why she an' Ah hit it off. Ah'm pretty calm.
[She's the Princess of Compassion for a reason. Even before that, though, she's always been a peaceful sort, despite being a soldier and fighter.]
Thanks for the address. Ah'll be over, soon.
Annnnnd action!
[ ... That would be extraordinary, even to him. ]
I'll see you when you arrive, miss.
[ It wouldn't be hard to find Rendain when she does arrive, either. He's standing outside of the exam room with his hands folded behind his back, looking all the part of a general awaiting news of his troops; if anything, he's used to the wait. ]
[ When he spots the new face in the hallway, he turns toward her out of instinct before he relaxes his stance and offers her a bow. ] We spoke over the phone, yes?
Voice to Leanne;
Leanne, are you there? It's me, Seiya. I'll tell Ikki what happened and where you are. We'll find you and come get you.
[But knowing Ikki, he'll probably get there first and do it alone, but hey at least they know where she is. Hopefully, it's a comforting message from her brother, if she can hold on for a little longer.]
Voice to Leanne/Seiya;
Who?..... Where's Mommy? Where's my Daddy?
no subject
[He frowns. If she regressed to a child, that means her memories as Leanne also regressed. Right now, he hates seeing her in pain, but she's in the hands of the staff for now.]
It's me, your big brother. Don't you remember? It's okay if you don't. I do not know what happened to them, Leanne. But hang in there.
[Even if she doesn't remember him, he's not going to give up. It's the least he can do for Ikki, who sacrificed himself so many times.]
no subject
It hurts.... It hurts big brother.....Make it go away.....
[For now, she will take him at his word.]
Hey! What's going on?! Are you OK there, Leanne?!
[The little girl doesn't sound OK, that's for sure, but Lea doesn't want to jump to conclusions, since kids as young as she sounds can really freak out about people trying to help them if it made things hurt worse in the mean time. He just really wishes he could see to be sure...]
video
Mademoiselle, are you there?! Is someone hurting you?
video
It hurts. Make it stooooop.
[So much crying as she hods out a hand towards the little person on her phone screen. The hand displaying a huge burn with some black skin where the burn is.]
no subject
This... isn't good, and withinthe few moments she's taken to concentrate, she's moved across her apartment to the window, wings already unfolding and eyes blazing nearly white.]
Leanne? Leanne, can you hear me, sweetheart? [Her voice is calm, just above a coo, but firm enough to (hopefully) be heard over the phone. She has no reason to connect this child with the Leanne she met in Fayren, but her blood is running hot at the sound of a child in pain. Just one hint... she just needs one, and she'll be there-]

You're going to be okay, Leanne... Do you know where you are? Can you tell me what's going on?
