[On the other end is a young boy who couldn't be older then about 6 with short blond hair and blue eyes. He doesn't really seem to realize that he's being recorded, after all, what the hell is a recording device? It's obvious by his expression of confusion and fascination that he has absolutely no clue what he's doing with the device or even how to properly use it. Oh boy.]

[Action
[To anyone around Memoria park in Genessia City, there's a 6 year old kid wandering around. He's obviously confused, but for a kid, he seems to be holding up fairly well, until he suddenly has to hold his nose all of a sudden because it starts bleeding on him. He oddly looks like he's really not feeling well and getting sick, and from the way he's got his hand to his head, no doubt his head must be hurting fiercely. Especially since he suddenly just plops himself on the ground against a tree. Yeah, Styxx was not doing well in this new set-up.]

Hm. That doesn't make them very good gods and goddesses then, [she replies, voice softer. What kind of higher power wouldn't want to protect children.] Why wouldn't they choose you? You're a wonderful young man.

[This child might as well have ripped her heart out and tossed it to the floor, despite her know she has no control, nor ever will have control over anything in his true home life. She can't help his brother... but she can be there for him now, while he's here at Genessia.]

Well... I'm sure that's not true, [She tells him, though, she's... silently uncertain in her mind. How is she supposed to know? She just hopes he's a child being... a child.]

In any case... you have me now, too. As long as you're here, I promise I'll take care of you, okay?

[She pauses a moment, moves to grab something of thecounter, then comes back, bends to his level, and starts to unwrap it.] I promise. And to start, since you're my guest, we'll have a treat before dinner.

[Definitely time for a change in subject. She can't have him feeling so down, especially not while he's her charge.

Can anyone be sad when they're offered chocolate by an angel?

She snaps the bar in half and settles back on her carpet, crossing her knees as she offers him one side of it.]

This... is chocolate.

Chocolate? I've never heard of it.

Try it. I think you'll like it.

[In fact, she's going to snap of a piece for herself as she waits for him.]

[He seems to just stare at it for a very long moment before hesitantly taking a bite and tasting it before making a pleasantly surprised face and eating more of it. It was good. Really good.]

[She grins, watching him excitedly. She'd always loved exposing her kiddos to good things for her first time.] You like it?

I've never had anything like this before. It's good.

Well, there's plenty of it, but we can't eat too much at once. It'll make your stomach hurt and spoil your dinner.

[Speaking of which... she finishes off her half of the bar and pushes herself back to her feet, looking down at him as she smooths her shirt hem.] Ok that note... I should probably start fixing it. Do you want to watch a movie or color while I'm cooking?

[He paused and glanced at her confused. He didn't know what watching a movie really was or the term of coloring. What did she mean by that?]

[He gets a confused look before clarity hits.

.....right. ancient Ancient Greece.]

Or... maybe you could open your backpack, [she suggests instead, nodding toward the bag she had given him earlier. He'd find out what coloring was soon enough, and she can only hope he's interested by the legos and soldiers.

Meanwhile, she'll hunt for the remote and turn on her television, hoping it's on a family friendly channel.]

[It wouldn't really matter if it was or not since the ancient world was anything but kind and not known for censoring from children anyway, but he does as he's told and opens his backpack, though he's not sure what anything it it actually is other then the toy soldiers. Even more, why were their colored candles in his bag? And why were they missing the wicks. It made no sense, though he liked the sketchbook. But....there was no charcoal to draw with.

When she turned on the TV, he glanced at it in surprise. What the....? Moving....paintings? Or were they people that were stuck in a box? He didn't know.]

[She stifles a giggle at the pure surprise coming from him at the television.] That's a movie. I can show you how they're made later, if you want. Just moving pictures that tell a story.

[She does glance back his way as she crosses to the kitchen to get things prepped for cooking. It'll be easy to watch I'm over the bar.] The colorful sticks are called 'crayons'. You can use them to draw in the book.

What? But why draw with wax? Wouldn't charcoal be better?

Hm? I can get you a pencil, if you want. [She reaches across her counter to grab him one.] Those are for coloring though. So it's not just black and white pictures!
