[Network Post]
[On the other end is a young boy who couldn't be older then about 6 with short blond hair and blue eyes. He doesn't really seem to realize that he's being recorded, after all, what the hell is a recording device? It's obvious by his expression of confusion and fascination that he has absolutely no clue what he's doing with the device or even how to properly use it. Oh boy.]
[Action
[To anyone around Memoria park in Genessia City, there's a 6 year old kid wandering around. He's obviously confused, but for a kid, he seems to be holding up fairly well, until he suddenly has to hold his nose all of a sudden because it starts bleeding on him. He oddly looks like he's really not feeling well and getting sick, and from the way he's got his hand to his head, no doubt his head must be hurting fiercely. Especially since he suddenly just plops himself on the ground against a tree. Yeah, Styxx was not doing well in this new set-up.]
[[OOC Note: Please note that Styxx can read minds and at this age tends to slip up more, so if you do not want Styxx to be able to read your character's mind, just let me know.]]

He's... far too young to be out here alone, and even before she draws close, she can feel that he's not doing well. She's careful to keep her houndour at her heels- the leash makes it a lot easier.
She's calm as she draws nearer, and crouches down once she's close enough, heeled boots and all.]
Hello... Are you alright?
[Action]
...Yes, I am alright. My apologies if I worried you, my lady.
[He was acting way too polite and adult like for a 6 year old, huh?]
no subject
She watches him stand, keeping her hands to herself despite her instinct to immediately reach out and hug him. Her Light could chase the bad feelings away...
He's a child and she's a stranger. No hugs yet. ]
It's okay... I'm glad you're alright. [She's not buying it, obviously, in the way she tilts her head at him holding his nose.] My name is Dove... what's yours?
no subject
It is an honor to make your acquaintance my lady, but I've never met someone who doesn't know me. I am Styxx of the House of Aricles. Prince of Didymos. Did you really not know that?
[It wasn't as if his face was unknown back home, but then again....]
Of course, I would expect many may not know me in such an unfamiliar place, is that right?
no subject
Her smile drops away and is replaced with a look of pure confusion. That's why he feels so familiar.]
Styxx?
[What?!
It takes her a second or two to recover, but even still, she's a little... off. She nods, still staring at him and trying to figure out how.] Right... That's... probably why.
[Another beat or two and she's snapped back into it. Styxx and weird circumstances or no, this is still a child, and he's still obviously not well.
...obviously]
Is your nose hurting you, Styxx? Can I see?
no subject
It's okay, my lady. It will pass. However, I do appreciate your kindness.
[Said in a way that said he was actually used to it.]
no subject
Are you sure? I'm a healer, you know. [she tells him, as if letting him onto a secret.] It's not good for you to be out here all alone, especially if you don't feel well, Styxx.
[Already, she can feel her Light reaching out to him, coaxing him gently as it had so many other children before. She's warm and disarming, entirely harmless for now.]
no subject
I really will be okay, my lady. I....get them often so I'm used to them.
no subject
[She's still not convinced, and instead of crouching, she just shifts and crosses her legs to sit on the ground in front of him. Even if he doesn't want proper healing, just being exposed to her Light should help ease it a little bit.]
I'm sorry. That doesn't sound like very much fun. You must be pretty strong then, hm?
[Is she seriously talking to Styxx as if he were a child right now? ...yes, because SOMEHOW HE IS.
Her houndour sits beside her, watchful as ever, but... not nearly as fierce for now. This one smells like that one man...]
no subject
I have to be, my lady. Kings don't get days off from ruling a country, and if I'm to take over for my father, then neither do I, but it's alright.
no subject
That's true. But... Kings also have an obligation to their people to take care of themselves, too you know.
People get worried when their rulers are sick. You don't want to worry your people, right?
[Besides, he's so far from home... she wonders if he's realized it yet.]
no subject
That's why I said, I'm okay.
[The point was to not let his people know about it.]
Um....Excuse my my lady, but.....where am I?
[He's considering the sick conversation now over.]
no subject
...suits him, or at least what little she knows of his adult self. She'll let him have this one and try a different approach in a bit.
She tilts her head at him. Spot on question, kiddo.]
We're in Genessia City.... it's... a long way from home. For both of us. But we're safe.
[Please don't freak out...she can't take you drinking.]
no subject
And for a kid that is aware of gods and goddesses and can read minds, he doesn't find this as odd as he possibly could. Especially since her mind mirrored her words so he had little reason to think she was lying, which meant....he was surprisingly keeping his calm about it.]
How did I get here?
no subject
The same way all of us did, I imagine. I'm a long way from home, too.
no subject
But I've never heard of Genessia City before. Where is it? It's not in Greece, Atlantis, or Egypt that I know of.
no subject
It's not in any of those places. This is a different world, Styxx.
[A completely different universe. Greece doesn't even exist her, so far as she knows..]
no subject
no subject
I don't actually know. I've never been to one of your world's other realms.
I don't think this place is connected with our worlds at all, though.

It's a lot to take in, especially if you're not feeling well. [Nope, she's not letting that go, buddy.] Have you had anything to eat today?
no subject
[Though he did have some nights where he was sent to his room without a meal as punishment, this was not one of them. Though if he was in a different realm then that meant he was away from his cruel family. Though....there was one member of his family he had to inquire about. With so many voices, he couldn't tell if his brother was even here.]
My lady, have you seen someone else here who looks like me?
no subject
[Again, she shakes her head.] I'm afraid not. Just you.
no subject
[He seems somewhat disappointed when she says she hadn't seen his brother.]
If you see someone like me then, will you be nice to him too?
[Kindness towards him and his brother was so rare after all.]
no subject
She nods at his question, actually reaching out now to brush a tuft of hair off his forehead if he lets her. It's a gentle touch, and that warmth comes easy.]
Of course I will. [Why wouldn't she be? She's... well, Dove.]
