[ After the eggs' effect ran out, Sertoria was thankful that she returned to her normal self. However, she considers it to be a humbling experience to be reverted to her human self. It gave her a time to be happier and not so concerned about the way the universe in general was back home. There's a part of her that wishes she could return to that self readily here, but knows that she's better off by being her older self. She has the experience necessary, after all, and the development to deal with whatever may come her way.

Due to being older and therefore, more experienced, her tone isn't as cheerful as it was. There's still warmth in her gaze and a general kindness that she has for everyone here. Her hair's returned to its' blond color and her eyes are their normal blue ones when she addresses the camera. ]

I would like to thank those who offered me assistance when I was younger. It is times like those that make me happy for doing what I do for humanity in general.

Surely there is something I can do for those who aided me...? I will not mind -- it is only right to repay your generosity for helping me.

The machine I was working on is in its final stages of development. The only real issue was the power supply - I've worked that out for the production models, but the ones I was testing when we met are special; they each have a Vessel of Anima installed in them. If you think you have some insights to offer on the physics and metaphysics involved, I would be happy to hear them.

It's kind of a long story, but... I'll try to give you the short version.

The Vessels of Anima are containers for power. Each one holds a portion of the power wielded by the universal failsafe, which is designed to reset the entirety of the lower domain to the beginning if its stability threatens the higher domain. Individually, at full strength, each one is capable of destroying entire solar systems, if attached to a suitable weapons system. In the state they're in right now, however... I'm hoping they can be adapted to serve as protective drones for exceptional individuals, in the event of another shield breach.

The production models will have a similar functionality, but on a much reduced scale. The hardest part has been developing the drive systems to a usable state.

( ren spots her while heading back to the cafe, and it takes him a moment to recognize who he's seeing, since so many people pop up on the network daily. but he remembers her, because she had this softness about her that stuck in his mind. normally, ren would try to keep his head down, but people don't seem to be aware of his reputation here, so he's gotten a bit more bold with approaching others and not having this anxiety about being immediately shot down or sneered at. )

[ It has been a couple of hours from her network post and Sertoria has decided to occupy her day by handling some fairly mundane tasks that she thought needed addressing. Mostly, she noticed that they were low on a few supplies in the house she shared with Angela and set forth to replenish them. She was on her way to the store until she took note of someone trying to get her attention. A small blink followed and she turned to face them, the momentary confusion disappearing into a small smile towards the young teen. ]

Hello--Yes, you would be correct about that. [ She notices his hesitation, her smile widening that much more in response to try to ease his worries, whatever they might be. ]
