Before anyone asks, yes. I know I vas a cute kid during zhe egg incidents und no, I did not steal or set anyzhing of fire.

[Just don't ask why Rip felt like she needed to clarify that, she just did. Now with that out of the way, she's leaning back in her chair with her woobat in her arms. The cute creatures was making soft pleased noises as Rip runs a hand through her dear Hilde's soft fur. From the looks of it, she's sitting outside on a balcony late at night and relaxing judging by the tanktop and faded jeans she was sporting tonight, a far cry from her usual suits and dress shirts. It seems this might be one of her favorite spots to be.

Rip spends a few moments just cuddling her Woobat before addressing her device again.]

Vat I found interesting vere all zhe ozher fun children I got to hang around vith~. Vho knew zome of you could be zhat adorable und bratty .

[Yes, she might be referring to Augustine with that comment. Then again, she might be referring to Eliot too... who really knew?However, her smile faded after a bit as she turned her attention more towards her pokemon.]

However, zhat isn't quite vat I vanted to talk about tonight. At zhe end of zhe event, I vas blind und zome...voman attacked me. I do not know vat she looks like, only vat her voice sounds like... und vat her heart beats zounds like. Apparently, she knew vho I vas, but, I am razher sure I haf never met zhis voman before.

[His answer? Laughter from the other side of the door before Rip opens it to let him in. Tonight, Rip's just wearing a tanktop and a pair of faded jeans and noticeably barefoot with her hair tied in a loose braid.

She really had been relaxing tonight.

[Which he appreciates! Uai relaxes more, glad she didn’t push in a manner suggesting he disgusted her.]

Zomevat similar...Ruby City vas..an island of zorts. Zhe city itself vas Victorian in style, but... run down. Ve had been pulled zhere by zhe being in charge, no one knows vhy.

[She frowned slightly.]

Ve vere told our vorlds ended und ve vere...recovered from zhe end of it. Beyond zhat, I zimply didn't care. I vas... preoccupied in my time zhere as brief az it vas.

Und zhen I voke up here like everyone else und haf been here for a few months now.

Hmm... Well. Worlds ending is a constant event. Still, curious that a higher power could pluck people out of worlds so whimsically.

[Uai, once again, hums. It's a birdy habit of his. At least he isn't chirping!] As it's only fair to be on similar levels~. I myself travel between worlds freely. But it would take an exception 'magician' to be able to drag others with you.

In fact, it must be impossible. Or I'd have done it.

[She shrugged slightly not too concerned with the reasons 'why' anymore. As far as she was concerned, the world hops were welcomed considering her fate back home... Rip may be running from something. ]

Oh? Zhen you are lucky to be able to travel zo freely~. I vould love to see zome of zhe friends I made in Ruby City again, but, I doubt I'll ever find my vay back.

[She smiles slightly as she glances towards the balcony for a few moments and idly hums to herself.]

Amusingly, I know a phoenix zhat blames my arrival here on himzelf.. zomething about tying threads togezher. If zhat iz zhe case, I vill not complain... it brought me to Namur.

[Surprisingly, there's a fair amount of affection in her voice when she mentions Namur. Whether she realizes it or not, Rip might be falling in love with the guy. Who really knew with her.]

[He tries to curve the bitterness in his voice. She gets to have her lover from another world, but Uai is still separated from his.]

Not in my 'omniverse,' anyway. The more I travel, the further I get from who I used to be... and the less likely it is that I will ever encounter My Hana again. [Uai knows he's said too much. Also, he doesn't care. She's going to find out eventually, so why hide it?

He also knows that his attempt cheer himself is transparent. Doesn't mean he won't chuckle and smile.]

It's amazing to find someone you love, huh? If Namur didn't come here too, what would you have done? Gone crazy? Tried to leave?

[She can hear the hint of bitterness and doesn't comment. Already she's pieced together than this 'Hana' of his was probably his lover and they're separated for now. His words just confirmed it.

Surprisingly, Rip's not going to poke at it. But, her smile does fade when he asks what she would have done if Namur wasn't here. ]

[Her entire demeanor shifts into something.. quieter and a little more withdrawn as she contemplates answering his question.]

If he vasn't here, zhen... I vould haf mourned his loss und moved on. I am no stranger to being left behind by lovers or friends. It happened fairly often in Ruby City und...you just haf to deal vith it.

[As opposed to Uai, who is defying the logical option. He's just trying to justify to himself why he doesn't get to have his lover back.]

I cannot deny zhe attraction towards him. You could almost say it iz... a primal attraction. It iz not quite like zhe one for Namur...zhat developed over time.

[Sorry, it takes her a moment to get back on track. Apparently, Rip adores both them more than she realized...]

I'm sure Namur vont mind. I live here too after all.

[The way she is able to talk so freely about both of her men amuses him. Enough to even put aside his jealousy and bitterness, just to be happy for her. It is encouraging to hear of lovers from other worlds being reunited, even if he understands it won't happen easily for him.]

I don't get to answer it, really. Because I was the one who left Hana.

[Uai realizes that when he whines at fate, it is a fate of his making.]

We promised to fight fate and be happy together... then I bailed and left her when it got hard. [Though he shrugs, it is only to shake off how painful his 'casual' confession really is.] Living with your lover... Don't take it for granted like I did. [So that was it. Rip was always the one that was left, never the one to leave...So in a way, she couldn't relate. But, she did understand fighting one's fate. She did that every day she continued to exist outside her world.]

Considering I cherish every moment vith zhem, I don't zhink I haf to vorry about taking it for granted~.

Not sure, usually I go vith opera or old folk zongs. But...I alzo hafn't really listened to anyzhing modern in over fifty years.
