ok, not to sound like an idiot or anything but... i'm confused.
i know you're all gonna tell me to listen to the schnee girl but i already did!
i get this is a different place where wacky hijinks happen and blah blah blah.
but i have to ask so don't make fun of me if i'm way off.
is this a game?
i'm gonna be kinda annoyed either way but i sort of need to know if it is or not because of stuff i don't really wanna explain because it's SUPER complicated!
and because of all that stuff i don't wanna explain i kind of need to find my friends if they're here.
so if you've seen anyone named dave, rose or jade that would be really good!!!
or any of the trolls except the crazy ones!!!

they're like moving pictures that make a story.

I have gone to see plays and the opera, but movies sound exactly like that, just with a different name.

We do have pictures back home yes.

I can also help try and come up with something too.

gosh, i don't know what i'd do without movies.
plays and stuff just aren't the same.
maybe the first thing we could do in our new people squad is tell each other stuff about where we're from.
i could show you some really neat movies.

About where we're from. I think I can do that, but what should we start with?

there's SO many differences.
when you watch a movie it's not a live performance, so you can do a ton more to add to the experience like putting in special effects and different angles on the actors.
one of the best movies of ALL TIME, called ghost busters, used these electronic devices called computers to add in real looking ghosts!
you could never do that for a play and make it look real, you know what i mean?

uh... maybe what kind of technology you guys had?
i'm guessing not a lot since nobody invented movies yet.

Ghostbusters... that sounds lieka movie about busting ghosts.

But as for what you mean...I guess so, but then it's in real time so what they do is real for the most part, except for the parts they might play.

Not a lot, I have to admit. We used candle light for the most part if that helps any. So seeing what they use here is vastly different.

that's because it is and it's also one of mankind's greatest cinematic achievements.
not to say plays aren't cool, you can definitely like both.
whoa that's mega old timey, from my perspective anyway.
this stuff is a little more advanced than things from where i came from too but i bet it's harder for you to adjust than it is for me.
do you like the technology here at least?
you're doing really good using it considering you're used to candles.

It is hard, but I am slowly learning about things as I go, so getting adjusted should be fine rather soon.

As for if I like it. So far it's really interesting, but is taking me a while to get a hand of it as you already are aware.
