WHO: Tenth Doctor and Enis
WHAT: Science!

Rose had tossed an assignment to Ten; which is to talk to Enis but finding Enis was going to be the tricky part was finding her. At the very least Ten knew what Enis looked like because that was one of the first individuals this Doctor met when first arriving here.

Enis's patrols took her pass the bayarea every single day. She often met people as they just arrived and while she did her best to help them, she was also quick to send them on their way. It was the norm and a daily part of Enis's day.

What wasn't a daily part of her day was a tall thin man walking towards her. She noticed that he was watching her and slowed her pace.

She paused mid-step and quirked an eyebrow at him. "Yes?" Enis didn't know that this was the doctor that Rose had been talking about.

Ten approaches; friendly with a big smile and extending a hand; "Hallo. I'm The Doctor. Rose sent me."

Ten isn't sure if Enis recalls this face as it has been a little bit.

"Ah. That Doctor."

Enis eyed his hand before taking it. She wasn't a big fan of handshakes but she knew that it was the custom. "I didn't know that it would be you." She never forgot a face. "I guess even Genessia is a small world after all. Did Rose tell you everything or will I have to fill you in?"

There's a simple; "Yes, she did." A short pause; "But I'll still need a sample. So if you'll follow me."

As Ten begins to lead the way to The Tardis. Along the way; "How have things been otherwise for you here?"

"Good enough." Enis really sucked at small talk. "I have a job."

She's decided to live which was why she was taking to the doctor now.

"What job?"

They both arrive at a blue Police Box; Enis may sense that somehow that's alive. Ten pulls out a key and steps inside.

"I'm one of the Genessia Deputies. I work on tech requests too. If someone needs something repaired or improved." She mostly wanders around and tries to protect people as well as help new arrivals to the city. It's boring most days but it gives her something to do when she's bored.

"Where are we going exactly?"

She eyes the box and while she steps inside, she pauses at the entrance because it's very big inside and she's sure she'd manage to gets lost. Never mind the fact that it's technically impossible for her.

"What sort of technology are you most familiar with?"

Ten pauses as he turns halfway - to either watch her coming in or answer her; "My lab. Can't do anything without seeing the structure of your DNA. Best to stay close - otherwise you might find yourself lost."

The Tardis is funny that way sometimes with messing with her passengers.

"Computers of different types. I've been spending a lot of time in Nova City to learn what they have there." Having a computer chip in Enis's head made it easy for her to learn new things.

It was a little like cheating.

"Okay." Enis followed close behind the Doctor. "I don't know what my DNA looks like."

The Doctor notices the lack of reaction of having stepped into something bigger than the outside and they both end up in a lab room of the Tardis and Ten gestures for Enis to get comfortable on sofa.

"Usually one doesn't."

Then pulls out a syringe from a drawer; "But I promise this won't hurt much."
