It's Mother's Day tomorrow! Back home, that was a day when we honored our mothers. And the other influential women in our lives. I think it's a really nice holiday, so wanted to share it with everyone!

But I know a lot of us don't have our mothers or cool lady mentors here... So I thought, why don't we talk about them? And spread some love for them! Everyone, please tell me about your mothers and lovely women friends! My mother's name is Horie, and she's the beeest! She raised me to be a kind and thoughtful girl, and showed me that girls can be strong leaders! I love Mama soooo much!

[But her mother doesn't love her. What Satou is really fishing for right now are stories of what a mother should be like. And people to talk positively about her own mother too. If she says she loves her mother enough, maybe she'll really stop feeling so bitter and betrayed.]

[ action - Various Cities / Ends at Holodeck(Nova) ]
[Satou can be found around town on Saturday and Sunday, doing a bit of shopping. In particular, she's buying flower bouquets to hand out to a few ladies she admires in Genessia *cough Hikaru cough* Occasionally, she pauses randomly to watch the civilian families walk by.

By the end of the day, she's finds herself back at the Holodeck. Satou looks between her options: She could go and train her magic, becoming stronger and more like the perfect weapon her mother created her to be... or she could "sin" and goof off with the Fantasy RPG.]

... Would that be okay? She doesn't have to know. [Satou sighs.] She would be happy if I had fun on Mother's Day, right..? Though... That Mama was just a lie, huh...? 

[Realizing she just said something AWFUL about her mother, Satou smushes her cheeks and yells in public.] Noooo! Don't say that, you braaaat! Brat, brat, braaaat--- [Oh right, she's in public. Hanging her head in shame now. N-No one heard or saw that childish outburst, right?]

[Anastasia noticed the size changes in the dress now. Weird.]

Hmm... I usually wear my hair down. But if prom is special, then I should do something special with my hair too. Do you have any suggestions?

[Anastasia eventually emerges. She looks quite pleased with this one. She fans out the skirt for a curtsy.]

I think putting your hair up in a bun is normal for proms...? Or maybe pigtails?

[Satou isn't entirely sure. She hasn't been to very many fancy events.

When Ana comes out again, the magical girl claps her hands together briefly... Then remembers that her job here is to take pictures!]

How cute..! Is it comfortable? The beading is so intricate..!

I think my hair is a bit too long for buns. But I do like twintails. Back home, we call them bunny ears~

[Anastasia giggled. Yep, she's pleased with this one. She strikes some more cute poses and did a short ballroom dance with an invisible gentleman.]

Yes, it's very comfortable. I really like this one... But we can't stop here, now can we?

[It's nice to see Ana having so much fun. It makes Satou that much more excited to make sure that she gets to the prom and shares all of this fun with Soma. Though she's only seen the expression a few times, what she has seen of these two smiling makes her want to protect them.

Satou clenches her fist and puts on a silly grin.]

Yeah! We can ask to have this one held aside for now... But the day's too young to stop trying on dresses~!

[She's going to protect these smiles, no matter what!]

[For some reason, Anastasia playfully twirls back into the fitting room, coming back a few minutes later wearing the casual dress, with the other dresses bundled up.]

Oh. Satou, shouldn't we look for matching shoes as well?

[Sorry, Ana. There's a very brief second where Satou is struck in the heart with trauma, as she recites the nickname of her deceased boyfriendo. Then she snaps back to goofy attention. More determined than ever to protect the people of Genessia! Soma and Ana won't be the next corpses at her feet, nope!]

Ahaha! I never even thought of that. I was just gonna wear my combat boots! But yeah. We should see if they come in pink!

[Combat boots...? She won't ask, nor will she ask about about that pause.]

Lets keep looking at dresses and only look for shoes when we've chosen one.

Welp! Shall we move to the next boutique? We have a lot of ground to cover, ne?

[Satou waves her hand dismissively, going on to explain with a smile:]

Satou is just fine~. Hehe. It's been so long since people knew my name. Just hearing you address me makes me super happy, Ana-chan!

Is Ana-chan okay for you? Do you like something else?

Ana-chan is perfect~

[It makes her appear cuter.]

[Anastasia brings the dresses to the counter, asking for the pink and white one to be held for her. Next, she pulls out her phone.]

Aaaaand just letting Satsuki know where we're heading next so she can find us. And now I'm good to go.

Satsuki-san is your guardian, right? Is she fun?

[Satou is very curious about guardians.]

You said you lived here in Nova City with her, right?

Satsuki is... More on the stern side. She is set to make sure I'm prepared for life. Such as self defense.

[And learning how to cook and clean and all those things. Almost like a old fashioned housewife.]

But she is good to me. She gives me lots of leniency and protects me.

[Satsuki mostly protects her from boys. Usually.]

And we do live here in Nova. At the Heavens Court apartments.

Hmmmm. Self defense is a good thing. [She nods.]

Heavens Court was so pretty. I toured it for fun when I first got here. Is it hard living in a busy city like Nova?

It is intimidating, but all the amazing sights and machines~ I just have something new to discover.

For example, have you ever heard of something called a "boy band?"

Boy band... Oh! [Satou snaps her fingers.]

The boys who sing and perform at concerts, right? I think Usao-chan was really into them. Do "boy bands" exist in Nova City?

I don't know. I've never seen them. I see them often on the televisions on display during my errand route.

[She lightly taps her fingers together, shyly glancing away.]

I-is it wrong to think they're kind of... Cute...?

Puppies and kitties can be cute, so why not boys too?

I don't know... Most boys I met are rather... Simple. Single-minded, really...

Boys can be sweetiepies. My friend Mikky is the most considerate person ever! And Shugo was a grouchy nerd, but he was always thinking of others... You'll find boys like that too, I'm sure.
