I have a war to win back home, so whether or not time is standing still there while we're here playing some house games with you all, I have no interest in staying around.

Really, has any of you even heard of the Holy Grail War? What's a mage even supposed to do for her job here? [Not sure whether mentioning those two things as soon as she gets here is a good thing or not but taking her to this place from the middle of her war? Not anyone's best idea either.]

[OOC: Joint intro for Rin and Archer (unknowntodeath)! Feel free to tag action around the Bay too, they're around there for a while before leaving to take a look at the cities or something. Though I guess action's also going to be Rin talking or yelling with/to herself if he stays out of sight.]

It kind of feels like she's been sleeping forever and ever or at least for a really long time even when she still feels like she could sleep more (never a morning person) .... And she is certainly still emotionally exhausted from everything. Well whatever, that might continue until she gets to beat that old hag's ass to get Saber back from her and maybe Shirou won't hate her forever for how she just talked to him.

Rin is slowly opening her eyes. Weird. She has never seen this place before... She shifts enough to notice the red jacket on top of her and manages to grab it by some small miracle before it can fall. So, he's here too. Well of course he is but that's still good news to her somehow.]

Ivory Tower, I'll keep that name in mind. I specialize in storing magical energy into objects that are mostly jewels in my case. ...And that depends on my opponent and what kind of magic they have, especially in a place like this where it can be from all different worlds.

Though if your war is all your magic is good for you may be disappointed. Even with the endless stream of serial killers that seems to rise up for our martial compatriots to dispose of there isn't nearly enough trouble for so many troubleshooters.

I recommend passing the time in complete idleness. Maybe catch up on your reading. Mages read where you're from, don't they?

Depends on the mage and what kind of magecraft she practices or whether or not she's still a student, I would think, not that practicing it here for a job would be bad for my studies. Waiting tables sounds boring. [and Rin sounds picky.]

Seven Masters, who are usually magi like me, each summon a Servant to fight for them in an insane battle royale until there's only one pair left. The prize is a grail, that can grant any wish... Not that I'm interested in it or have any wishes for it, I'm there just to win it.

Whatever, after a talk with Archer before this network thing, she just decided to make her own rules here. [it's not that he was eavesdropping intentionally, more that he came back to the Bay a few days after returning to retrace his awakening. strange though it might have been, but he didn't wake up in a chamber like last time... almost unceremoniously coming to on the cold, hard ground. his apartment was no longer under his name. and he had some loose ends to tie up from when he was last here.

he should probably check in on Orihime and see how the bakery was doing. Fenrir was still here, though until he regrouped with a few more people, he wasn't going to take it to the garage. currently leaning against a wall just off to the side of the Bay entrance, the quieter swordsman picks up the bickering between two newcomers.

As for Holy Grails... I've heard the legends and the figure of speech, and wars for it historically, but none of them related to magic. Your magic is probably unique as well, so you'll have to be blunt with me about it if you want advice for what to use it for here.

[Huh, that makes her mind run into way too many directions about what it could mean.] Well, maybe it'll just get much worse when there's magic involved too. [Duh but she's not going to tell all of her thoughts easily and speaking of telling everything... Rin frowns.]

Of course it's unique, it's unique even back home! And just who do you think you are to tell me that I have to tell you anything about me and my magic bluntly or at all? [Huff. Someone's not used to anyone helping her and even less used to anyone knowing what she is and she's usually the bossy one around who's telling others what to do.]
