[Action]
Hector's eyes shot open the moment the haze of sleep was pulled away. His body was laying on something firm and soft, and it had been nearly a century since he'd felt anything like that. With a yelp he sat up, floundering a bit as he half tumbled and half stepped out of the pod. The memory of his heart raced and he swallowed thickly.
"Ay, w-where..." There was nothing familiar about the stone or water around him. Much less the object that had scattered along the floor. Scrambling to pick them up he looks over the instructions, not liking the words or meaning at all. Because wherever he was, was not The Land of the Dead. Which meant, there was no connection to The Land of the Living.
"No bridge." He clicked his tongue and grabbed everything, shoving it in his pockets and taking off out of the cave. He doesn't even pause to listen to the recording. He needed to get home. To get home and make sure to get over the bridge. Nothing else mattered. Not strange devices or, or necklaces.
Not even crashing into solid people.
"Lo siento!" Hector managed as his bones scattered across the sidewalks of Genessia, with a small little grunt he drew himself back together, placing his head on with a crack and turning to apologize to whomever he'd bumped into.
"HIJOLE!" He scrambled back, pointing a bony finger, "Y-you're...how? No, no puede...ah!" He grabbed his hat and yanked it down as he tried to calm down, "How can you see me!? You are alive!"
[The camera is really close, showing a single, warm brown eyeball.]
Caray, is this on? Hola? Ah!
[He pulls back, looking a bit sheepish and nervous.]
I apologize for that. I was told to introduce myself on this...network? To see if there is anyone I might know.
[Not that it would be difficult to spot them in this land of fleshy people but, well Hector just had that sort of luck.]
I am Hector and I'm still not sure how this works. But, that is the way of it. If anyone recognizes me.
[Pause.]
And I do not owe you a favor, please! Say hello, si?
[A bit of fumbling and the feed ends with a little whistle from Hector.]

Fortunately, he's not the type of kid to scream about that. He just stares.]
Um... I'm sorry, Hector, sir. I don't recognize you... [He pauses for a moment longer,] How are you moving? Are you a Kami too?
Re: video
Kami...I-I don't know what that is.
[As for how he moves. Well! He just shrugs.]
Ah, just memories? I think?

Is it because people worship you? [That's how Shi moves, anyway.]
I've never met someone else who was dead and walking.

...You're a skeleton...
[A talking skeleton at that. But what kind of a 'hello' is that? She mentally slapped herself and started over when she realized he can hear her.]
I-I'm sorry. I'm Anastasia. H-hello.
Re: Video;
[He can't actually deny that but he tugs at his hat a little.]
Most people are where I come from. Not nearly as guapo of course, but it isn't anything new.
[A nod, but no. The name isn't familiar- from living or dead memories.]
Have you been here very long, Anastasia? I did not think there woul dbe many children around.
Re: Video;
Ah...
I think I'm the only one. I've been here for about three or four years now.

Welcome to Genessia, Hector! Interesting name; were you a jailer? What's this about favors? Ha, you look like you might need one, particularly in the way of vittles.
[Looks like he hasn't eaten in a while.]
Re: video
[Had he been in jail? Yes. But that wasn't the question so clearly, not a lie!]
Well, when there isn't much money around, favors are the best currency. But enough of that! Are you very familiar with this city, senor?
Re: video
But to answer your question: yes! Extremely.

Hello Hector, nice to meet you. I'm Dray.
I don't think we have meet before. Did you just arrive here?
Re: [Video]
Ja, no, I would remember you. Trust me. And yes, I only just woke up in that weird coffin.
I see. The first days are the most stressful but don't worry, this place isn't as bad as it might look at first glance.

[action]
The Doctor had been minding his own business (at least, mostly), strolling along at a fast pace as usual with his attention elsewhere, when- well, he'd bumped into people before, but they hadn't generally exploded into a scattering of bones, before. He regained his footing quickly, but paused there, looking about, then twirling around to take in a view of the damage with a sheepish cringe. What a mess.
Less than someone with actual organs would have made, thankfully, so there's that.
"...ah. Blimey, sorry, didn't, ah-"
He pauses at Hector's reaction, glancing around a moment, since it's kind of an awkward scene even by his standards.
"Whot? Well, yes, reasonably sure, well, it a working theory, but- no, hold on, sorry, are you not?"
He steps closer, leaning down to inspect Hector more closely. Yeah of course he looks like a skeleton, but who takes appearances for granted? Moreover, as far as he's aware, this is something fairly new for Genessia; vampires is one things, but talking skeletons...
...who are clearly a bit freaked out. The Doctor shelves his curiosity at least halfway for a moment, flashing a smile and offering a hand up.
"Sorry, that's just something a bit new, don't get nearly enough really new around here, but welcome to Genessia, don't think I caught your name."
Re: [action]
Freaking out iiiis putting it mildly. Hector's ribs are heaving as he tries to get his memory of breathing under control. "si, new. Ha, and no. No, I'm not alive."
Because otherwise he wouldn't be a skeleton. But everyone around him seemed to be very much alive. Once his panic subsides a bit, he cautiously looks the living man up and down. Tilting his head a bit he gestures at the Doctor.
"You are new for me. I haven't seen a living person in...a very long time." Name? Well...couldn't hurt. He holds his hand out, "I am 'ector."
