[Action]
Hector's eyes shot open the moment the haze of sleep was pulled away. His body was laying on something firm and soft, and it had been nearly a century since he'd felt anything like that. With a yelp he sat up, floundering a bit as he half tumbled and half stepped out of the pod. The memory of his heart raced and he swallowed thickly.
"Ay, w-where..." There was nothing familiar about the stone or water around him. Much less the object that had scattered along the floor. Scrambling to pick them up he looks over the instructions, not liking the words or meaning at all. Because wherever he was, was not The Land of the Dead. Which meant, there was no connection to The Land of the Living.
"No bridge." He clicked his tongue and grabbed everything, shoving it in his pockets and taking off out of the cave. He doesn't even pause to listen to the recording. He needed to get home. To get home and make sure to get over the bridge. Nothing else mattered. Not strange devices or, or necklaces.
Not even crashing into solid people.
"Lo siento!" Hector managed as his bones scattered across the sidewalks of Genessia, with a small little grunt he drew himself back together, placing his head on with a crack and turning to apologize to whomever he'd bumped into.
"HIJOLE!" He scrambled back, pointing a bony finger, "Y-you're...how? No, no puede...ah!" He grabbed his hat and yanked it down as he tried to calm down, "How can you see me!? You are alive!"
[The camera is really close, showing a single, warm brown eyeball.]
Caray, is this on? Hola? Ah!
[He pulls back, looking a bit sheepish and nervous.]
I apologize for that. I was told to introduce myself on this...network? To see if there is anyone I might know.
[Not that it would be difficult to spot them in this land of fleshy people but, well Hector just had that sort of luck.]
I am Hector and I'm still not sure how this works. But, that is the way of it. If anyone recognizes me.
[Pause.]
And I do not owe you a favor, please! Say hello, si?
[A bit of fumbling and the feed ends with a little whistle from Hector.]

Re: video
At the time, I didn't know he was a wizard; sure, he said he was, but I thought he was just a nice- if kind of eccentric- old guy. But he did tell great stories, so when he invited my friend Isa and me in for tea one time, we figured, why not?
So anyway we sit down for tea and cookies, and the sugar bowl come hopping over and serves us sugar for our tea all by itself! Then I tried to get a closer look at it and it whacked me on the back of the hand with the spoon.
That kinda convinced me on the whole wizard thing, as you might imagine.
Re: video
[The story is amusing and Hector laughs.]
Somehow, I think I should say, serves you right!
Re: video
[Lea chuckles too.]
Maybe. But hey, I bet you'd have tried to do the same in my shoes. I mean, come on; it was a walking- or hopping, I guess, since it didn't really have legs- sugar bowl! If that's not worth getting a closer look at, I don't know what is.
Re: video
[Though he is mentally snickering at the image of Ernesto more than likely doing it. And then tossing the little sugar bowl aside.]

Re: video
Anyway, I should be done with work in a couple hours. Want me to stop by the new arrivals housing and we can go from there?
Re: video
[New arrivals housing.]
The what? Where is that?
[Did he forget to mention that he sort of ignored the hologram?]
Re: video
Re: video
[But he's looking for the tag he mentioned. Not that Hector was going to be using the arrival housing anyways.]
Re: video
Anyway, you think you can find the address at least?
Re: video
[Literally. He crashed into Eleven.]
