[Thancred's face appears on the screen, with the bay in the background. He's been awake for a while and poking around while making his way towards the city.]
Well, according to this device, we're not in Eorzea anymore, are we boy?

There is much we need to discuss, my friend. Would you care for a hike?

Why not? Let's get caught up on things.

I will have been here for three months in close to a fortnight. [ Not too long, but an eternity without her friends. ] Prior to that I had been in a different world called Xistentia for nearly a year.

Xistentia.
Now, you have to understand that seems hard to believe, considering I saw you just a few days ago in Ala Mhigo.

[ Era definitely tended to stick to emotional. But hand-holding and hugs were something she got more accustomed to by the end of her stay there. ]
D.E.S.T.I.N.Y. caused me to fail Eorzea thrice. First it was Shinryu wreaking more havoc than even Bahamut did, and the others were the fault of Omega.
[ But let's not talk about that!!! She hates thinking of it, though felt it only fair to inform Thancred of the situation. ]
I believe we are from near the same time. I may be a few months ahead of you.

Maybe. I know of that Shinryu. Not of Omega. You just confronted that Garlean, Zenos.

[ Why yes, her Carbuncle seems quite pleased by this. It doesn't have as big of a personality as it did in Xistentia, but it's still more personable than the average Carbuncle is now. ]
My guess was not inaccurate. That was a few months ago for me. The last thing I can recall is... [ Being closer to death than ever before. Era hesitates; hugging her arms to her chest as she continues walking forward with a confidence she doesn't feel at the moment. ]
It was the second round of Omega's tournament. I had defeated a jester from another world. Omega was not pleased. It cannot understand why I keep winning against all odds and was frustrated by this. It threatened to kill me if I did not show it my 'true' strength. [ She pauses, exhaling a calming breath before finishing her summation: ] Midgardsormr intervened just before I was completely drained of aether, and then I awoke on the shores of Xistentia once more.
