So, my mother is having a party on June 23rd and 24th. It's going to be on the Nova City Islands, and there will be games and prizes. I wanted to invite you to join us as my guest? If you want to come please meet us at the Nova City Docks at 11am on June 23rd.

Trunks has gotten the lay of Nova City pretty well, and a decent start on getting to know and explore Attleton, so time to add Genessia city to his list. He'll be out and about exploring, with particular visits to the Genessia Scientific Research Foundation's lab--mostly to find if they have a head-office, a few shops and parks, and making note of certain locations.

Trunks hadn't wanted to disrupt Rose's yoga schedule, so he didn't meet her every day to work with her on meditation. But--aside from her recent hermiting because of things--they did try to meet regularly. One such morning finds them in the Garden Park, slightly off (but not too far) off the path by the trees.

You don't really need to, although more food never goes amiss with my family. Especially also if the gathering includes Goku. (He's my mother's oldest friend--they met when both were teenagers.)

I don't think I ever talked to him, no.

Nope. I haven't met food I didn't like yet, besides just that Mai and I spent the last year living on what ever we could find that was edible and safe. (Okay, I lied--I'm SICK of canned cat food.) Far as I know no one in my family has allergies to food, and Father and Goku seem to eat almost anything that can qualify as food.

...that does remind me, since you're likely very used to non-Earthlings. I don't think they exist in your galaxy and multiverse, but they could. Goku and Father are the last two known members of a race known as "Saiyan". Warrior-race, extremely adaptable and durable--that's part of why the food. Fast metabolisms mean saiyans eat a lot, and like I said, they don't seem to have any food allergies and able to eat almost anything that can be actually 'edible'.

You had to eat cat food? that couldn't have been good for your health, no. Not enough nutrients for an adult of your size. Sorry to hear that.

I haven't heard of Saiyan before but I'll keep that in mind when I meet your friend and father.

They were pretty rare even back in my world; like I said, we're fairly certain Father and Goku are the last 2 pure-blooded Saiyans in our universe. There are 4 half-breeds, if you count 'me' twice since I'm from a different timeline (I exist 'twice' effectively), along with Goku's two sons, and there's a quarter-saiyan in Goku's grand-daughter. That's it.

Wiped out before I was born; Frieza blew up their planet.

Mai and I are a from an alternate time-line compared to everyone else here. So while my mother and father are here--they're not "my" mother and father from my time-line. (My father died shortly after I was born, and my.mother...passed recently.) So the version of my parents who are here? While they're still MY parents, back in their timeline and home, they have a younger version of me.
