So, my mother is having a party on June 23rd and 24th. It's going to be on the Nova City Islands, and there will be games and prizes. I wanted to invite you to join us as my guest? If you want to come please meet us at the Nova City Docks at 11am on June 23rd.

Trunks has gotten the lay of Nova City pretty well, and a decent start on getting to know and explore Attleton, so time to add Genessia city to his list. He'll be out and about exploring, with particular visits to the Genessia Scientific Research Foundation's lab--mostly to find if they have a head-office, a few shops and parks, and making note of certain locations.

Trunks hadn't wanted to disrupt Rose's yoga schedule, so he didn't meet her every day to work with her on meditation. But--aside from her recent hermiting because of things--they did try to meet regularly. One such morning finds them in the Garden Park, slightly off (but not too far) off the path by the trees.

[OOC: I figure this is probably like...3rd or 4th lesson for Rose, if that works?]

I am more comfortable in Genessia. Fayren has buildings that I am used too but I'm not comfortable around magic. [Not after being trapped in an enchanted castle before arriving here. It always made Belle a little uncomfortable though she sometimes goes to Fayren to pick up different books from the store there.]

I have a small apartment in Genessia. I like it very much.

[She smiles.]

What about you? Is there a city that you prefer?

I haven't spent as much time in Fayren or the Everglades yet, as I'm still getting my bearings. A version of my mother is here though--it's complicated a bit...

[Reaching up, rubbing at his neck awkwardly with a sheepish smile.]

I'm glad to get to spend more time with her though, so Mai and I are staying with her for now. My father also recently showed up...

We're in Nova City, as it's probably the closest to the environment they're both from, and close enough to what I grew up in, although it'd been a while in my world since it has been that...

I see. [Belle offers Trunks a kind smile.] I have met people from my home here, briefly, all from different points in time. I haven't seen a pattern but I can understand how confusing it must be. [She hopes that it isn't too awkward for him. For someone who grew up without a mother, Belle thinks it's wonderful that his is here; even if it's a younger version of her.]

You're lucky.

[Belle glances over at him.] I would love for my family to arrive here. Is Mai your sister? Or a friend? [She's always wanted to have siblings though her mother passed away when Belle was only a baby.]

It sounds lovely. I hope you're able to find a little bit of peace here. Things can be hectic but from day to day, it's very tame.

[Belle believes that Genessia is a place for new beginnings, even if you'd never thought it possible.]

I'm kind of used to adapting to strangeness in timelines, thankfully.

[It's something about how she says that he's lucky, that makes him look at her more for a moment in curiosity.]

"I'm...looking forward to it, honestly. My mother--that is the one in my timeline--passed away very suddenly a couple of weeks ago. Mai's really the only one I have left, from my timeline."

[Sympathy in the tone, gentle and not intrusive but sharing with Belle as he's sensing that common pain.]

Mai is my partner, as well as my friend. We've been working closely together for the last year trying to keep everyone safe. I'm looking forward to being 'bored' here, for a bit, honestly.

[Which doesn't mean he won't still be trying to find a way home, but he's also looking forward to some peace.]

Thank you for your help Ms. Belle. I appreciate it. I'm hoping to make more formal contact with the heads soon, but for now I'm still settling in. I'm sure you probably also have a lot of resources, but I'm used to most of the tech in Nova City, as well as having to do without it and make-due, so if you want advice or a hand, I'd be more than happy to help. In thanks for your help here, if nothing else.

I lost my mother too. I'm happy she's here for you now.

[Belle smiles at him with a gentle nod of her head.]

If you ever need help, please call me. If you'd like to find me I work at the Attleton University as a teacher. I'm usually there if I'm not at the library. [It's where Belle spends a great deal of her time.]

And I'll keep that in mind.

I admit, the microwave likes to give me some trouble. [She says the word a little awkwardly, like she isn't used to saying it just yet.] Thank you Trunks. I hope we talk again soon.
