Can someone please tell me why people of this city like to make stuff up?

To note, I have not nor have I ever broken into a donut store with some guy called Randall and ate so many donuts that I passed out with icing on me.

So if anyone is spreading that, please stop as patients I have to work with keep giving me weird looks and asking if I was charged with stealing them. It's not funny and I don't appreciate it.

So this case I don't need to do anything beyond just explaining to people that it's just a rumour. I mean after all the hospital had to question me about it too and I could have lost my job if they didn't check the police station to see if I actually had a record because of it.
