[Text]
Orihime Inoue reporting for duty! I'll come to you. Where are you at?
Re: [Text]
[Text]
[It's not for him? That's interesting, but not unusual. Once she gets the address, she sets out at once, stopping only to grab a jacket with a hood to stave off the rain.]
[Text] >>> [action?]
[It was for Bakugo. Co-Guardian too no doubt. The apartment complex was in Genesis anyway so that was good. She has also talked to Bakugo so it could go either way.
He waited for the girl now. Aizawa was in his casual wear, simple shirt and pants with his hair tied back.]
[Action!]
[She doesn't find it strange at all that the call would be made on someone else's behalf. It sounds like someone has a broken arm, and that can make it difficult to text or use technology. Orihime knocks and waits politely until she's let in. Once admitted, she bows her greeting and slips off her shoes out of habit.]
You're Eraserhead-san, then? It's nice to meet you! Where's the patient?
Re: [Action!]
[Unaware of the meeting going on, Bakugo steps in the main room, holding a mop with his left hand. The reason becomes quickly apparent as his right wrist is encased in a neon orange cast. He stops talking immediately when he sees their visitor, looking at Aizawa, then Orihime, back to Aizawa--
He turns away and walks off.]
Re: [Action!]
Thank you for taking the time to come this way Inoue-san. I imagine it can be busy from where you stand.
[Being Co-Guardian and such. Before he could point her to the direction, Bakugo entered the room. Right after Bakugo finished and was about to leave, Aizawa tossed a captured scarf to the kid and dragged him back in the main room. One Bakugo burrito coming up.]
It's this guy here.
[So normal.]
[Action!]
I guess he's a little shy, ha ha...!
[She starts to rub the back of her neck when that scarf goes shooting out to ensnare her reluctant patient.]
A-ah! His arm!
Re: [Action!]
[There's a blindingly white shock of pain that leaves spots swimming in his eyes for a moment before he realizes that he's not in his bedroom.
Dammit, Aizawa. He scowls, looking at them both.]
The fuck is Fire Hair doing here?
Re: [Action!]
He'll be fine.
[Best reassurance Orihime. Huh... and they know each other.]
As you can see Inoue-san, his wrist is broken.
[Sigh.]
She's here to fix that arm. Let her do her job.
[Action!]
It won't take long. Do you want to keep the cast?
[He might have got some cool autographs, so who is she to erase that with her ability? But if not, well...it'll probably get rejected out of existence along with the fractures in his bones.]
Re: [Action!]
Why would I want it? It's going to stink.
[He'll (mostly) behave, but not until he gets another word in:]
I don't need any help.
Re: [Action!]
But I would appreciate it as his guardian and teacher. I'll hold him down.
[Better quick and done.]
Eh, sorry for all this.
[Action!]
[She approaches with her hands clasped behind her back.]
After all, this is a good chance to show the other power I have that he didn't get to see before. So consider it a demonstration, ne, Murder-sama?
Re: [Action!]
Yeah, fine.
Re: [Action!]
[Action!]
Hold your arm like this so you can see how it works. There's a secret about it I don't tell most people.
[She touches her hairpin with the tip of her fingers, calling forth the two small spirits within to form a flat oval shield of gold light over his cast. While he probably won't feel the bone cracks knitting back together, he might notice the easing of pain. More visibly, the edges of the cast start to crumble and lift, disintegrating as the particles rise into the air to vanish.]
When I tell people I can heal, it's mostly because it's just easier to explain that way. In truth, I'm rejecting the event itself and restoring your arm to the way it was before it got broken. Since you don't want the cast, it's being unmade too.
Re: [Action!]
He does watch though, studying her ability. It's impressive. He stares at his arm, noting the lack of pain, as if he had never been in that fight to begin with...]
Temporal manipulation?
Re: [Action!]
Temporary manipulation? More like she turned back time before their eyes. It was amazing, and yet quite scary. Aizawa remained silent the whole time, arms crossed.]
[Action!]
[She lifts her head to briefly glance at her patient's face, then Aizawa. She couldn't really tell what either of them were thinking based on their expressions.]
But...of the two possibilities it could be, I think that's probably the one that scares people the least.
[The cast is almost gone now, and she can feel that she's getting close to finishing the job. One more push, then! She furrows her brow, focusing.]
What about you? Is it common for people in your world to have powers, or do you have to keep them a secret?
[Action!]
Thankfully, it's not like one those comics with all that secret identity and stuff. [He waves a hand.]
Almost everyone has some kind of 'special powers' where we come from. We refer to them as Quirks. They manifest in an early age and we each learn how to control it over the years. [He takes a breath and sighs.] Now days anyone who abuses their powers and breaks laws are labeled 'Villains'. We have Hero agencies who are in charge of stopping these Villains and bring them to custody. That and respond to rescue calls such as disasters and stuff.
...Ah, and becoming a Hero is a carrier choice, and very popular. [He tries not to roll his eyes on the last part.]
My Quirk is Erasure. I can temporary take away a person's Quirk.
Re: [Action!]
There's no need in explaining his quirk when Orihime witnessed it herself. Eventually, his eyes meet hers.]
Practice with me. [It's stated like a demand, not a request.] It's the only way you'll learn about your abilities.
[Action!]
[She probably shouldn't wave it off so lightly, but really, having a world that's used to people with powers and probably with some sort of established training program would be amazing. She supposes they technically have a shinigami academy, but people typically have to be dead to be enrolled there, and she's anything but.]
Temporarily erasing an ability would probably come in handy for helping people to control their powers in a safe environment too. So if you're from the same world...
[ERASERHEAD IS KATSUKI'S DAD! Clearly. She looks up at Katsuki's intense gaze, and blinks in surprise. Then, slowly, she smiles, wider and wider with genuine warmth in her eyes.]
I'd like that very much, Murder-sama. Thank you.
[The last trace of plaster and neon gauze fades away, and Orihime withdraws her shield.]
There. You're ready for action! Criminals can be nervous again now that you're back on the job!
[Action!]
[The first thing that comes out. Sorry Orihime but he has that intense look. He gives a little reminder.]
No matter how many times you compare worlds, it's all the same.
[Well, he sorta does help control a Quirk for someone later on, but that's another story. Okay... that intense gaze is a little scary, but he knows she's thinking of something illogical. He sort of mumbles to himself...]
What on Earth are you--
[Someone please interrupt him.]
Re: [Action!]
One way to really test it out. He glares at Aizawa and reaches up to ty and smack him upside the head.]
Hey, stop mumbling like that! It makes you look even crazier than you already do with your dead eyes. [Scoffing, he looks back at Orihime, the mood mostly back to normal.] I'll go get your payment.
[Action!]
[And he's striking his dad in the head, ha ha...! ...Er...maybe she shouldn't leave quite yet, if she's going to have to use her healing abilities again.]
Besides, even if it weren't free, I'd be happy with extra training lessons. That's worth a lot to me, especially right now.
[The more formidable she gets, the more likely she'll be recognized as a worthy ally in combat for Ichigo and the others.]
I'll head back now. It was nice meeting you, Eraserhead-san.
[Action!]
Tch. Do that again, you're cooking your own dinner tonight.
Ah. Shota Aizawa is fine too. Whichever you prefer.
[He said that quite calmly and serious.]
Inoue-san.
[He politely bows.]
Thank you once again and Heals on Wheels for the time.
Re: [Action!]
We'll just order out anyway. [Which he likes, but it kind of defeats the purpose of the threat.] And Fire Hair, my teacher had you drag your ass out here for free. I refuse to remain in your debt.
[Action!]
[She drops her fist into her hand. Suddenly she has an idea!]
Well, why don't we all meet for dinner tonight, then? I want to hear more about your world of heroes and villains! Free food is the best kind of payment!
Re: [Action!]
[If anyone cares to pay attention to him. Cause that's what they do at Heals on Wheels.]
I don't care, hurry up and decide.
[He was talking to those two. Great. He was about to get dragged out, and all this for charity. He just sighs. Guess who's bringing the sleeping bag.]
Re: [Action!]
[He argues back, thinking about Orihime's solution. It doesn't take him long to come to a decision.]
I'm hungry. Let's go somewhere- you can pick, Fire Hair. [It beats him cooking and accidentally destroying their oven. And more importantly, it gets him out of the apartment.]
I'll go grab my wallet. [He walks back to his room to do just that.]
[Action!]
[She's so excited, you don't even know. This is turning out to be a pretty good day! Of course, she'll have to double down on the baking when she gets home, but it's absolutely worth it.]
Something exotic! Spicy Indian curry sounds really good, ne?
[Action!]
That's fine.
Re: [Action!]
[He shouts back, returning with his wallet and going to put on his shoes at the entrance.]
Let's hurry and get the fuck out of here- AIZAWA-SENSEI! WE'RE LEAVING WITHOUT YOU!
[Action!]
[Naturally she's not really going to leave without Aizawa, and she stops to turn and wait once they're in the hallway.]
Don't forget to bring a hat or umbrella, it's raining out!
[And she zips up her jacket, keeping her hair safe under the collar. She'll put the hood up once they're outside.]
[Action!]
Someone's eager to get out of here.
[He slipped on some boots and followed behind them. And yes Bakugo, he's talking about you.]
Re: [Action!]
[He might as well grab his hoodie while he's at it. As he slips it on, his hair gets stuck in the top, forcing him to struggle a bit and tug it down roughly, hair immediately poofing back into place.]
Wonder why.
