For those who have problems sleeping sometimes, what do you do?
I'm asking for learning purposes.

Eating before bed can cause nightmares, since the food activates your metabolism and sends signals to your brain and it activates. You could avoid that and see if it helps a little. You could also talk to a therapist about the nightmares.

I worked for the military, nightmares were a common thing for almost everyone.

But also it would take time for me to even want to talk about them to someone. I can mention I have nightmares, but not what exactly they were about.
