[Video ] An important announcement
[Cassian and Kay's house is often lively and, while Kay is trying to keep what is happening behind him mostly out of frame, Cassian and some pokemon can be spotted.]
Does anybody know a good blacksmith that can weld my wedding ring into place? [Kay raises his left hand and sure enough, there's a white gold ring around his finger.] It keeps falling off because my frame's too smooth and I don't want to lose it by accident.
[Any attempts at seriousness are ruined when there's a yelp, a shout of] Galantea! Get back here right now! [and then there's a Sylveon wearing a tiny tuxedo throwing herself at Kay smugly crowing Sylveon! Sylveon! Cassian appears a moment later, plucking her from Kay’s shoulder. If you look closely, you can see a matching wedding ring on Cassian’s hand, worn along with the gunmetal-grey ring made of Kay’s frame he’s been wearing since Christmas.]
That’s it, you’ve been wearing this tux since the wedding. Enough now. [For his troubles, he gets his cheek licked– slowly and slobbery and with great relish. He finally notices the phone in Kay’s hand.] If you’re going to announce it, you might as well tell them we’ll be unavailable for our honeymoon.

Oh right, the sub archways. Those are still so strange to consider. I keep thinking that I should conduct time splicing and space folding experiments in them to check if their psychics are the same as here. [He promises not to break the Honeymoon archway. In the next two weeks.]
Fayren does have a lot of untouched mountains. I work in the middle of nowhere and it is fantastic how few people come there.

[ Such as riding. He still can't stay on a horse for any length of time. ]
One of the things I'm hoping to do, now that I have time, is to learn more about the magical and supernatural sides of our world. I planned to before I was elected and then it fell to the wayside. As Guardian, I was only concerned with their dangers, it will be nice to explore them properly.
[ Maybe a nice mansion in Fayren then. Perk: The Guardian likes him, she probably won't arrest them if they're caught trespassing. ]
If you're planning to run any experiments with the subarchways you'll want to talk to the local Guardian beforehand. There might be laws concerning the subarchways.

I mean. Of course, but. [Okay, that makes things more difficult. Uai is fine talking to a former Guardian to get some insight, but he really dislikes the idea of jail. That would really slow him down.]
My magic is a blend of science and magic, so it might be too boring for you. But I can say it is a fascinating subject. As for Fayren, I can agree that it requires a special skill set to explore. Perhaps not the best suggestion I’ve had, in retrospect.
Anyway! Now that you’ve retired, you should definitely relax. And for your honeymoon especially. [What uai is really trying to say: Stay in your line and please don’t rip any Guardians off about the experiments thing. You heard nothing. He doesn’t need to be on any Guardian’s radar.]

I don't know if I would call a blend of magic and science boring, but it's all new to me, so basically there's something to learn in every field of magic. But I haven't got any plans how or when to go about it.
[ Maybe something else to talk about to Mavis. Before he was elected his interest had been Everglade, but with things still tense between him and several high-ranking Everglade citizens, snooping around there might be seen as nothing but a challenge. Fayren is friendlier territory between Mavis and Winter being steadfast allies. ]
I'm not planning to do much relaxing now that I've retired but we do plan to have a nice honeymoon first. Kay's had to take the backseat to late nights in the office far too often.
