Second Bite [Video]
[Though the setting isn't very bright, barely lit in fact, there was no sense in hiding his identity in such a small, closed off world. Zelman may have caused some trouble, but not nearly enough to warrant him to be concerned of making any real enemies.]
Is everyone making a timely recovery? It was unfortunate for those of us to fall into harms way unexpectedly.
We wouldn't want to have another attack so soon while recuperating.
[A vague threat, perhaps? Or a questionable show of concern for people here.]
Is anyone conducting preemptive measures if this were to occur again?
[Private to Ishtar]
I shouldn't need to remind you what time it is.
[He can and will hunt someone to feed from if she does not present herself. It was the agreement after all, and he was kind enough to humor her with it.]

I imagine the…man responsible for the attack intends to lie low for the time being. I doubt he wishes to present himself as an easy target so soon after making that many enemies.
…We have had our warning, I am sure there is no reason why we would not be better prepared the next time.
[Was that a warning threat of his own, or just a statement?]
[Audio]
[Aside from that.]
It would be naive to think he is the one and only assailant among us. [Not that Zelman was trying to draw attention to his little arson on the day of, but really, did these people not think ahead?]
I have yet to see anyone take initiative for next time.
[And Zelman was certain there will be a next time.]
[Audio]
[There's a pause at that.]
... Just because you cannot see it, that does not been plans are not already being set in place. Or are you claiming to be omniscient?
[Audio]
He enjoyed provoking reactions and luring people into conflict. It was a form of entertainment.]
Are you implying that you, or a accomplice is building a defense for a future attack?
[Out of curiosity. He would never initiate trouble on his own. He wasn't so reckless to turn a whole city against him.]
I claimed no such thing.
[Audio]
He had two options for answering that question - pretend that he had a defence planned, thus making himself a target, but perhaps putting off a potential attacker; or claim that there was no defence, which might mean a future attack was more carelessly planned, but also show him and his allies as vulnerable. Hm.
In the end, he decided to flaunt his ego. There was the chance that Zelman would not take him seriously: ]
Mais bien sûr! Do you really think one as powerful and beautiful as moi would go without preparing a defence? I want to at least be prepared enough that I may have the chance to comb my hair and make a truly elegant reappearance should another attack occur!
[Audio]
Least to say, Zelman had no way to challenge his lie if it was one. He lacked the resources he once had to dig for information of this nature. There was one thing he could challenge the other one, however.]
Was it not you, one of whom lost to this crazed winged-man? [His caretaker was rather aggressive and hard to miss. Another young girl was killed altogether according to that dreary footage displayed by that sobbing blonde.]
How do we know it won't happen again?
