3: Looking for Challengers!! Who is the Strongest?

[A lot has happened since Goku last addressed the community at large, mostly because he tends to forget where his device is. His arch-enemy showed up (and left), his birth father showed up (and left), his rival showed up, he got a job, he moved to another city...

He didn't put anything on the network for any of that, so whatever he's here to talk about must be important, right?]

Hey, everyone! Who's the strongest person you've ever fought? It could be here or back home; I just wanna hear about 'em!

[...Of course not; it's Goku. Training against the same people in the Holodeck again and again can get old, especially since Goku can't quite figure out how to get the holograms of Beerus, Whis, Monaka, Arale, and the other powerhouses to fight at full power. Either he gets a wider variety of opponents to face in there or he gets to fight an actual person - either way, he gets what he wants!]

Nah - I guess we could have, but he just wanted a strong opponent. And some food. [That sounds kind of familiar, actually.] Once he found out how good Earth's food is, he didn't want to blow it up any more!

That does sound pretty rough, but if they're bad guys, they must've deserved it.

Well, that's certainly one way to settle things peacefully. I doubt it would have worked in my world, unfortunately, though it would have been fun to see Athena trying to settle things with food.

[He frowns and shakes his head.]

Indeed, if the people thrown there were bad guys then the punishment is well deserved. But, unfortunately, the person who determined that was rotten to the core. Basically he would send you to any of those prisons even for just stepping over an ant, I'm sure he would do it even for eating things that were alive which goes from animals to plants. Imagine that.

That doesn't sound good. [What kind of a monster would send someone to Hell for eating food?] Was that the Hades guy or the Thamatoes guy? Either way, I'll definitely have to beat 'em up if I run into 'em!

Another guy, but those two encouraged it I suppose.

[He snorts a little.]

Now that I think of it there were way too many idiots in control of it all. If any of them come here you can be my guest and try to give them a beating, specially if killing them in my world didn't make them change their minds.

All right, sounds good! [It wouldn't be the first time that he changed someone's mind by fighting them, and it definitely won't be the last.]

Most of the gods where I come from are nice; Lord Beerus can be cranky, but he's an okay guy once you get past the whole "God of Destruction" thing, and he let me use his planet to train! ["Let" is a strong word, but Beerus isn't going to say no to tasty food.] You've got good gods where you come from too, right?
