[ After the chaos of the past few days, with the fight a few days ago, Lucy'd been staying close to the guild until the worst of her coughing had gone away. Stupid smoke inhalation. Of course while she was staying at the guild, she was getting most of her writing done. She'd set her goal for the end of the month to finish her revisions. Also, she was in the company of a little boy as she made her way around town in Fayren and Genessia. Feel free to encounter her in the city or back at the guild later in the afternoon. ]

[ OOC Feel free to have anyone run into Lucy at the guild or in town ]

[ And later after acquiring a few.. things from certain places, she returned to the guild with intent of evil -- or mischief at least. Also if Natsu wasn't with Justyne right now, then he might be working on the house still and could use a break. So she called for him. ]

Natsu, are you here?

[He was actually working on the house as she might have expected. However the sound of Lucy calling his name reached him regardless. He put down the hammer and spat out the three nails he had in his teeth and walked over to the Guild House.]

I'm here. What's up Lucy?

[ Lucy's smile widened when she saw him approaching, nodding a little to herself. Good good. ]

Well, we thought you could use a break. You've been working on the house most of the day, right? [ She patted Nev on the head, setting setting her bag down. ]

[Natsu chuckled a little when he saw Nev getting patted like that. Why did this scene before him make him wear that big dumb smile anyway? He didn't know but he did know it was more than justified.]

That so? Well I guess I was putting in a bit of overtime.

[But at the very least he was almost done with the ground floor. Something which would likely get some attention since the base of the house was definitely wider than his home back in Earthland.]

[ And that big dumb smile always made her smile more to see it. She could stare at it all day. In fact she had to catch herself from just -watching- him to glance down at the little boy at her side. She flashed him a confident smile, and then turned back to Natsu. ]

Exactly! All the more reason for us to come and distract you from putting on so many extra hours.

[ She may be up to something, Maybe. She always did look a little too innocent when she was up to no good. ]

You know what they say, 'All work and no play..' right?

[SHe was definitely up to something. She might have thought she was pulling the wool over his eyes but he knew her habits and body language far too well to fall for that kind of deceit. But just knowing she was up to something didn't really tell him what that something was.]

Alright alright you win. So what's in those bags anyway?

[Totally not trying to take a whiff without her noticing.]

[ She intended to keep him guessing as long as she could! Missing that attempt to get a whiff of the bag's contents. He will be picking up the scent of plastic as well as the scent of musty paper, like a dusty old book. ]

Nothing too special. I just bought some books, and things for Nev - I thought he deserved a treat. Justyne and Regina are out? What about the others?

[ She paused, shifting to slide her arm around his waist. Aaaall part of the plan. Yeah, no other reason there. Sure. Just gotta keep the dragon distracted, fufufu. ]

Nev, why don't you go in the kitchen and grab us some drinks?

[ They can all have a nice sit down like a fami-- er.. okay that was...a random thought. ]

[Well she's off to a smashing start. His attention is completely on her and after sniffing otu the books he decided to overlook the bags.]

I think they're all out doing their thing. I didn't see them since ya know working on the house.

[He isn't worried though. They're all capable of handling themselves and the people of Fayren already know Regina and her charges are under Fairy Tail's protection.]

[ Perfect! Now so long as she kept her focus and didn't get lost in ...well..HIM... her plan would go off flawlessly! ]

They're probably out on a job then.

[ Watching Neveren scamper off to the kitchen for said drinks, Lucy secured her arm around Natsu. ]

Come on, we'll go sit outside. It's a nice day for a change.

[ Hopefully it would stay that way for a while, too. And no bored lunatics will ruin that. ]

[He watches Neveren run off before feeling Lucy's arm around him. WHich in turn prompts him to put his arm around her back too.]

Sure. Sounds good to me.

Lucy wasn't back in the guild for a full five minutes before she noticed something tugging on the back of her shirt. A little intruder, in fact. Strange... Normally people notice things like that right away.

"Hey miss!"

Or voices shouting at them from very nearby.

"Miss! Hey! I remember you! Hello! Hey! Can you see me? Heeeyyyy!"

It was that little youkai that helped her rescue people from the burning building. The glassy white third eye that had been wide open and bleeding previously was now closed, hovering peacefully in front of her chest.

"Miiiiiiiisssss!"

She didn't seem to be going away any time soon.

[ That was very very true. She didn't know what it was about him that always enchanted her so much. But she was determined to keep the plan going. She sauntered out towards the pool, glancing behind her briefly with a smile on her lips. Hohoho, whatever she had planned - Yus, he'll NEVER see it coming. ]

[ Except he will because it was ALL over her face. In any case she took her sweet time walking with him, almost...forgetting that there was a whole other reason she was bringing him out here. ]

Hnnn, I didn't mention it yesterday, but it's really cute watching you and the kids together. They really idolize you, you know.

Voices? Lucy startled slightly at the feel of a hand tugging on her blouse, and then the voices that shouted. "Eh? What th.." She glanced over her shoulder, blinking in recognition and surprise.

"Oh! You're.. that girl from the other day!" She was actually pretty relieved that she was all right. "What are you doing here..?"

"I found you!" She seemed elated for some reason. "I found you and I followed you. But you couldn't see me for a long time. So I kept following and you still couldn't see me. But then I got hungry and I got a snack and came back and then followed some more and now you can see me!"

She did seem to have some crumbs on her shirt. Possibly from some crackers or cookies. "I'm here because I saw you. And you're my friend! And I saw you!" She grabbed her hand, squeezing it. "Hello! I'm Koishi Komeiji. I'm a satori youkai from the great underground."

[Well if anyone could distract him it was definitely Lucy. He was a little surprised to hear her comment about him and the two young children.]

Eh you think so? Well I guess it's only natural once they got to know how awesome I am~

[Careful feeding his ego like that.]

Oh my god the girl was adorable. (WHY DOES SHE HAVE TENTACLES moving on) Lucy couldn't help but giggle at that response. "A-ah, I see..! It's nice to meet you Koishi --" Pause. Hand. Well okay, she's just a very very cheery type of person...demon.

"Satori.. youkai? That's... that some kind of demon... right?" Except she's much sweeter and cuter than the demon jerks back home. "I'm glad you weren't hurt too badly the other day."

"Noooo!" She laughed, hopping up and down a few times. "I'm not a devil or a demon. I'm a satori youkai. Demons are something completely different." She tipped her hat up and let Lucy's hand go, her outline wavering a little bit. "Don't worry though. I can't read minds anymore. My head broke a long time ago so now sometimes people can't see me. Children are good at seeing me though, so I get to play a lot with them."

She reached down into her pocket and pulled out a little bag, taking a piece of candy wrapped in was paper out of it. It was the last one. She held it out to Lucy. "Here! This is for you. It's Sis's homemade taffy and its really good. I want you to have it for helping me so much. My head hurt with all the panic and screaming and I couldn't think. Thank you!"

[ She stifled a soft giggle at his response. She almost forgot about that ego of his. STILL, she could use that against him! Mwahaha. She turned to face him and wrap both arms around him, smirking playfully. ]

Oh? How awesome you are, huh? Is that what you think?

[ Well it's true, but she wasn't going to add to it. ]

Pretty cheerful and upbeat for someone who's head 'broke'. She frowned a little, "O-oh.. I see., Sorry - but that's good! Where I'm from, Demons... well, the ones we've encountered, they're not exactly... friendly." They were completely unlike the girl here. "What do you mean when you say that your head... broke?"

Oh wait. "I mean... sorry if that is a sensitive topic, but..." She's caught off guard by the offering of candy, hesitating a second before she accepted the treat. "Are you sure?" It was the last one after all. But she smiled at the words of thanks. "You don't have to thank me for that - I couldn't stand by and do nothing, and the rest of my guild was already handling the largest area to contain the fire." Though she kind of wished she'd called Natsu over - that fire would have been a cinch with him there. Still, she knew he had been needed more with Gray and the others.

"Is your sister here too?"

"Yep. Broke broke broke." She reached up and removed her hat, lifting her bangs away from her left temple exposing a severe, bone white scar that depressed slightly into her skull. It was the same type of scar that marred the top of her third eye. She let her hair go and placed her hat back where it belonged. The article must have been custom made for the little satori as it seemed intentionally lopsided to better protect the old wound.

"I didn't want to read minds anymore, so now I can't. But then I started seeing the subconscious mind instead and that is a lot less noisy... Except when everyone is in a panic. Then it hurts a lot. Also it's nice that people can't lie to me now. It's good to be honest."

She hopped slightly as Lucy accepted the taffy, clapping her hands. "Yup! It's okay because you helped. And you're a nice person. I can see that too. So you can have it. Sis makes them really special because she uses a little bit less salt and puts a few drops of oni sake in instead. It's just a little though so its okay. It makes it taste really good..."

"And yeah! Sis is here. She's back at home. Miss White outfit with the long black hair and the sword with the big frowny face brought her over and we hugged and I was happy."

[Among the people in the markets, one will be sticking out quite a bit. Mewtwo could be seen attempting to barter with one of the vendors with a particularly wide variety of berries from which to select... and getting nowhere. Wanna help a guy out, Lucy?]

{Hugs had definitely become a more frequent occurrence something that Natsu found he didn't mind in the least. That smirk on her face wasn't helping either.]

Yep. Why wouldn't I think that~?

Lucy winced slightly at the sight of the old wound. How.. in the world did she get an injury like that? "I suppose I can see why someone wouldn't want to read minds all the time - something like that... is far too intrusive." She frowned a little. "Someone did that to me not too long ago, actually." She'd at the time been more worried he was going to try erasing her memories though, but she didn't enjoy the experience in any case. And she was fairly certain the pokemon would know better than to show his face around the guild again after that.

"I appreciate this though, Koishi - thank you, very much." She grinned. Cupping her hands around the candy, she tilted her head curiously, "Hm? White outfit... long black hair and the..." Ahahahaha. "I think I know who you're talking about. I'm glad you were able to be reunited with your sister."

[ Smirky smirk smirk. Although she couldn't actually think of one good reason why he would think he wasn't awesome. She knew he was. She'd tell him so every day if she wasn't concerned it'd fluff up his head and ego to intolerable levels. ]

Well... I suppose I can't really think of a reason why you wouldn't think it, but... [ She broke off to glance past him with a smile; though he surely smelled and heard Neveren heading outside with drinks and a bag before she greeted him. ]

Oh, Nev! Got the drinks? Great - [ Not allowed to look though, Natsu - in fact she reaches up to catch his face to keep him from turning! And if that smirk had a hint of his own smirkiness before it was full blown now. ]

You know, Natsu -- there is.. one thing I forgot to mention.

"Yeah! I got to stay with her awhile too when I wasn't wandering! It was lots of fun. I made origami animals and left them in fun places for her to find but she didn't smile. Not even on the inside... No fair." A bit of a pout, though it didn't last long. "She wants to learn Danmaku though! That will be lots of fun. I'm going to see if she wants to play soon. And we can drink tea after and maybe have a picnic. Picnics with friends are the best!"

There was a bit of a hesitation, the little satori reaching forward to poke Lucy's arm. "Miss? Could I have something to eat? I had a little snack but it was just a little snack. I haven't eaten yet today. Please?" Her third eye was swaying from side to side, the looping blue arteries twisting around to form a little heart above her left shoulder.

[She really was making it pretty damn obvious that she was stalling for something. And that something might be soon revealed or so he believed. He sniffed out Nev and made to turn in his direction. Only for Lucy to hold him in place.]

Huh? There is?

[Now his suspicion was being replaced by confusion.]
