[A figure dressed in black will appear suddenly, the air cracking with energy around him. He pushes back his hood, revealing bright blonde curls and a magnetic smile. Yet the expression isn't entirely kind nor is it settling. It's possible that this new arrival is actually furious.]
...against my wishes...? [He is impressed by the gall even as his mind works rapidly to counter it.] Do you know who I am?
[It doesn't really matter. He must press onward. The blue of his eyes sharpens.] Where might I find the Magical community? Don't say there isn't one. Witches and Wizards exist everywhere, but they are too accustomed to hiding.

Re: [Action]
I can related to that, at least a bit. Death always gets her due whether you hide or not or think you cheated~ Cheaters never win, after all.
[Oh hey, the story about the staff, she's absolutely intrigued, her dumb ears perking up a bit as she leans forward in her chair. Ooooh, another elf.]
Waaaaait. Was she, like, dead or something then? Or what? Because I didn't think that thing could eat actual people that weren't like us or something~

[He nods to Lydia, drumming his long fingers on the table.]
That is the point, I think. Fairy-tales are meant to encapsulate morals.
[Falling silent, he tries not to laugh at Ed's death.]
How did this umbrella have a stomach and teeth with which to devour you? Or was it your Magic it consumed? Without it, you would be quite inanimate.
Re: [Action]
[He shrugged, and failed to look not as affected by the umbrella talk as he was.]
Well, liches are made up of magic, so when my magic was consumed, so was I? I don't know.
Let's focus on this fairy tale of yours instead. I find it interesting how the last brother actually took his cloak off at all, from the sound of it, he could've lasted forever. And wasn't that his goal in the first place?
Re: [Action]
But she'll drop it for the time being while stretching, mmf.]
I wonder. If you technically die as a mortal but death can't find you, does your body still continue to age and rot? Because if that's so, you'd just rot until there's nothing left. Would you continue on as a skeleton or something?
[Action]
His attention is caught and held by the questions. He has asked himself similar ones in the past when he and Albus argued over the morality and truth behind the tale.]
He cared for his son more than himself. He wished for a full life to enjoy and he had it. [Cocking his head, he frowns.] You will grow very, very old, yes, but your frailty can be staved off with spells and potions. Magic can easily preserve a person once they find an outlet - or tool - for immortality.
