Genessia

Newt is quick to start to wander about his new surroundings. Personally, he'd rather explore than ask others a bunch of questions. With his long wool coat inside his suitcase;

Library

Newt comes across the library and begins to research, which leads to him being in the creature section of the library. After all; he has no idea what creatures that he'd run into here after all!

Nova City

Newt is aw stuck at the Muggle devices with flying cars and is this - a moving sidewalk? What Muggles do in order to make up for lack of magic. Though Newt still can't help but smile at that thought.
He's for sure a fish out of water in Nova City. Anyone want to explain anything or point him around?

Attleton

This is quite curious; a seems to be a Muggle Police Box from Britan - expect it's blue rather than the usual red and - Newt carefully touches the Police Box slightly with a finger and then careful his entire hand.

Curious. What sort of magic is this? Or - is there a creature inside?

Everglade

Finally, Newt feels more in his element with hearing the howls of werewolves and the flickering of street lamps, he is ready to use his wand if need be; and has his wand at his side in his hand.

It is curious; it's as if the Muggles are living in the other parts and this is where all the magical creatures live.

Fayren

Feels like home away from home - he's even stopping inside The Drunken Monkey to see if they have butterbeer.

Newt does notice how she walks and cocks his head a bit. When she's closer; those eyes confirm it. But how did a unicorn become human?

A whisper, "Yes.. My name's Newt. What's yours?"

He is very bright and she can sense his magic. Magicians should frighten her, but after receiving the help of two kind Magicians here, she is more friendly to those with the ability.

"Amalthea." her lips twist a bit, "That was the name they gave me. I didn't have one before."

Newt giving her a warm smile and extends his arm as far as that will go and leaves his hand in a relaxed position in case she wants to sniff him and never breaking eye contact.

"Do you like that name?"

Her eyes widen and she examines his hand, dipping her head on instinct. But she remembers, belatedly, that she is a lady and pauses, halfway.

"It is...strange. Like a distant moon."

Then her form will begin to glow. She undoes the spell that allows her to keep a human form - a trick she has recently acquired. Before him, there will be a petite Unicorn with cloven hooves.

"It's alright. You don't have to act for me what you're not." Newt remarks gently as the human unicorn tries to act proper.

"Do you know why that name sounds like a distant moon?" He's not going to go into Amalthea is the mother of Zeus.

Then Newt watches her magic outline her and transforms into her true form of that of a unicorn; he's not startled but rather amazed and smiling and whispers; "You're lovely."

As Newt keeps his hand out; if she wants to come to him to be petted.

"I am myself, yet I am not. The curse changed me." which is why she sometimes reclaims her human form for a short while. However she looks and sounds more comfortable as a Unicorn. She radiates her own light - like the moon - and that is perhaps why the name Amalthea was chosen for her.

"The man who named me knows much for he has lived a long life." she arches her neck at the compliment, looking pleased. It is a given that she is lovely, but his tone is pleasing. She finds herself walking forward and butting her velvet soft muzzle against his hand.

Newt is really good at stroking; it's comforting and friendly feeling.

"Do you know what the curse is?"

Her eyes close and she stands calmly, letting him touch where he likes on her face and neck.

"No. He sought to save me from the Red Bull - the Bull only chases Unicorns - and so I was given a new form."

Newt is very gentle, trusting and very skilled as someone touches her face and neck. He seems to also know the best spots to really give a good massage.

Red Bull? He doesn't know what sort of creature that is.

So, you're hiding, that's smart.

"If you could tell me more what the Red Bull looks like I will keep my eyes out for him for you."

She is too proud to lean into the massages, but they do feel good. Her eyelids lower as she is lulled into contentment.

"It didn't feel smart. Being a human was painful at first." she had tasted mortality and that is never easy for an immortal creature, "He is large - the size of ten or more of me - and his red skin is on fire."

In other words, a walking nightmare. Newt will notice him.
