Guys, we need to talk. I've tried to turn a blind eye to this because alternate world, people coming from all times and spaces with presumably their own trends and styles to follow. But my god does it seem like some people here dress themselves by falling into a dark closet and walking out in whatever fell onto them. Which wouldn't even be so bad except what the hell do some of you even keep in your closets in the first place?

And you know. I feel like we should all have something we can bring to this world. Which is why I want to start sharing examples of the good, the bad and the better-off-as-ashes and teaching people the differences between the three. For example:

[Posted here are three images. One is of a woman dressed in a sleek black business suit with killer heels - that is, heels that could probably actually kill a person if they were stabbed with them - and meticulous hair. To this one, Anon has added a green tick. The second shows someone in a skirt that doesn't so much seem below-knee as it does a knee-length skirt that's too long for the person wearing it, and a top that seems like someone picked up a bundle of wool without actually making it into something first - but at least the colours match. This one has a single amber cross and a note "can be saved". The last outfit is a clashing mess of colour and layers that looks like someone scavenged the left-overs of a jumble sale, with three big red crosses and flames.]

Now I know some people might be wondering where they fit into this scale. Maybe you already know. And that's why I'm here to help, as long as you're okay with a little brutal honesty.

Or maybe you have suggestions of good or bad fashions - I can't have eyes everywhere so I'm open to suggestions. Maybe we could even put some to a vote, just in case you think I'm biased or something. I dunno, these are all just thoughts right now.

Either way, I look forward to seeing what you guys can come up with~ If you're very good, we might even be able to make something beautiful out of all of this.

It's seriously tempting, but I'd rather just point and laugh. Or gawk. The only problem is he probably doesn't think it's as hideous as it is. Or he thinks it's "ironic" "on purpose."

Then he needs educating. All the more reason to name and shame, really, otherwise he'll never be saved.

Sadly, I'm pretty sure he's beyond redemption. He gets better taste mostly, but I'm starting to think the only reason he wants to be ginger haired is to horrify people with clashing with it.

Then for the sake of yourself and everyone around you, I'd stock up on hair dye now.

Luckily, he doesn't want to dye his hair orange. He just wants it naturally. Like a cat. It goes without saying by now, but all the same: he's really weird.

That'd be the polite way of putting it, anyway.

I've been known to phrase it more harshly during my bad days, but usually I find the quirks cute.

Or horrifying.

Well, what's horrifying to one person can be cute to someone else I guess. If they're the kind of person to find horrifying things adorable, maybe.

I am at least. I guess he might be too. Again, depending on your idea of horrifying.

Yes. That jacket. The most despairingly disgusting pile of fabric I've seen in a while. I guess I should thank you for that.

See? New standards for lowest bar to jump over! ;)

That's not a good thing. If all people have to live up to is "better than that" then they'll still stick to their hopelessly terrible wardrobes.

Ignorance is bliss.

And that's nice for them. Not for those of us who have to still see them.
