After hearing a bit about Torchwood from the kelpie and having been there - Newt liked the idea of the restaurant giving creatures like a kelpie an alternate choice to eating others like Newt. Taking Albus and Tina with him, and the briefcase and Bowtruckle sticking out of his shirt coat pocket.

"Excuse me. Who's in charge here?"

Newt gives a small warm smile; however avoids direct eye contact and shakes her hand, "Newt Scamander. Good to meet you, Rose."

When Rose leans in further to the Bowtruckle; the Bowtruckle hides inside the pocket completely.

Captain Jack Harkness? Newt really didn't want to meet two people in charge. Maybe Rose can give him all the answers to his questions.

"That here is Pickett. Pickett, it's alright. You can come out."

Very slowly little tiny leaf hands are seen before the top of Bowtruckle is seen peeking out of the pocket.

"Leaves."

Pokeberries? Poffins?

Second bad dog? There's a first? As Rose proceeds to try and pet Pickett; which goes alright. Newt continues to only sort of look at Rose. As he's more watching Pickett being petted.

"I was wondering whose idea it was to offer an alternate solution to food for beasts - and how the food is created and maybe -", which is when one of the locks on Newt's suitcase opens and he's quick to close that.

"Hallo, sorry Pickett." A quiet hum. "What kind of leaves?" her ears practically flick.

"Also my idea. It's created in the labs, except the fear which is generated in the Haunted House, piped into the restaurant, and serves as dressing. And some species survive on it. And anguish requires bottles from Fayren and me when I was fightin' with my boyfriend. He runs the labs, for the plasma and flesh, but it's supposed to be top secret," she stuck her tongue out to the side.

"What's the last thing you were gonna ask?"

Newt wouldn't really get a chance to ask his question. There was a certain youkai nearby. And she had noticed the new-but-familiar person. And clearly she had drifted over to investigate (once she finished her meat bun).

And upon seeing its Newt... Well, expect an intercontinental ballistic Koiball to land any moment.

"Hello there Mister!" Was the only warning they would get before she dove past Rose and attached herself affectionately to Newt's arm, her third eye nuzzling his shoulder. "It's good to see you again! Do you remember me? Can you see me? Can you hear me?"

Koishi you dove out of the sky and gave him a hug. He can see you.
