After hearing a bit about Torchwood from the kelpie and having been there - Newt liked the idea of the restaurant giving creatures like a kelpie an alternate choice to eating others like Newt. Taking Albus and Tina with him, and the briefcase and Bowtruckle sticking out of his shirt coat pocket.

"Excuse me. Who's in charge here?"

'Albus?' Rose discreetly mouthed to Ten, poking him psychically. {THAT Albus? As in Dumbledore??? But he's so young!}

Nevertheless, since Ten hadn't set Rose down, she leaned over his shoulders to offer a weird handshake. "Rose Tyler. My Dad runs Torchwood in his Universe, and Jack my partner here, runs Branch Three in the Doctor's Universe. We do a lot of weirdness, to be perfectly honest. At the moment we're trying to create peace between vampires, werewolves, and humans in Everglades with Haunted Eatings as a neutral ground for everyone to be safe and still get what they survive on, judgement free, yeah?" A sigh and she exasperatedly rolled her eyes. "I have got to get someone to manage the advertising department. My Dad does it back home, Jack I thought would be a natural, but he's busy runnin' security. And apparently I keep offendin' people of... non-humans."

She gently tugged Ten's cheeks with both hands. "I blame this one rubbin' off on me. Rude, not human, yet somehow still manages to irritate every species that there is." She laughed and quickly held her arms around his neck snuggling close to show no harm done, "But I love you anyway, Bad Dog. Just means I have to share you less, don't it?" Hair ruffles!!! "Mr. Rude and not ginger."

At Ten's question, he chuckles slightly and says, "Not much. Apart from a love of piggyback rides on the premises, naturally."

At Rose's introduction, he's all polite, friendly smiles, returning the handshake with a warm, personable grip. "A pleasure to meet you, Ms. Tyler. My name is Albus Dumbledore."

He does get the sense that there is a little more going on in the conversation between Rose and Ten than he's being let in on, but with Ten being resistant to Legilimens, it's hard to know exactly what. Still, what Rose says is very interesting, and he listens with a rapt attention.

"Ah! How delightful! And the work sounds very important, I'd imagine, if it's tasked with maintaining the peace of one of the areas of the city. Has the conflict in Everglades been going on for some time?"
