After hearing a bit about Torchwood from the kelpie and having been there - Newt liked the idea of the restaurant giving creatures like a kelpie an alternate choice to eating others like Newt. Taking Albus and Tina with him, and the briefcase and Bowtruckle sticking out of his shirt coat pocket.

"Excuse me. Who's in charge here?"

As Gwen pours tea she has to smile,"You're quite welcome and don't think we've met officially? I'm Gwen and the tea is very drinkable, the UK knows its tea." going for the joke in this case.

"I'm a part-timer, so that might be why." Trunks responded, not knowing what the UK was but taking her word for it all the same. After a year of near-starvation rations when they could be gotten? He wasn't picky.

"I'm Trunks. Not entirely sure what my role is here except occasional meat-shield and bodyguard, although I'm capable of more than that." Said with an easy smile, as he didn't mind.

"Makes sense, easy to simply miss you given schedules too." Gwen has to smile at that. "Field agent in my case and unofficial keeper of the coffee maker and tea kettle." the last part being mostly a joke to keep the mood light. Her wedding band does catch the light on the chain she's wearing however.
