Okay, so. Couple things. First off, a few people from my world has shown up. Lady is a devil hunter like me, and the best damn human in the business. Nero is a punk with some demonic ability. He's a generally good kid though. Even if he is a punk. Kyrie is a good kid too. I've not really had a chance to spend too much time with her, but I'll vouch for her.

Lastly, because I'm a paranoid bastard, and I don't believe this place is just being nice to me, I figured I'd get ahead of this.

[He leans forward, running a hand through his hair until it slicks back a bit before sitting back up.]

If you see me walking around with this hair style, and a blue jacket, do not approach.

[He shakes his hair and gets it back to normal.]

That would be my twin brother, Vergil. He's... let's say not the best adjusted. Last I saw him he was obsessed with gaining power, to the point of trying to get our old man's power and... it got messy. If he shows up, let me confront him first. I would hope this would be a second chance for him, but I'm not taking chances on it either. Oh, also, this goes double for you, Nero.

[He shrugs a bit.]

[ Thinking on his question, it really sent this fluttery feeling crazy inside. To be fair, she often felt that way when she thought about Nero in general, but talking to Dante of all people about this just felt so... embarrassing! She cleared her throat a little, trying not to come off as such a weirdo like she felt she must look now. ]

W-well.. I'm not sure when his feelings started exactly, but... shortly before you [ She glances off to the side a little. ] made your grand entrance to our church... He didn't really say it with words, but, Nero has always been the type to show his feelings through his actions rather than words.

Really?

[He sighs]

Well that's lame. I had hoped that necklace or whatever was an anniversary gift or something. Kid's gotta step up his game...

[ That gets a small laughter out of Kyrie. ]

No, I'm afraid not, but it was certainly a nice surprise.

Well, as nice as a guy dropping out of the sky and shooting a priest in the face can be.

[A shrug.]

[ She shook her head lightly. While at the time that scene was... rather horrifying, she knows now that Dante was doing his best, and after everything they've all been through... well she wouldn't let their first meeting decide how she feels. ]

'Fine' is a bit of a stretch. I've got a lot of baggage, but that's not your worry.

[There's a beat. He'd gotten out of Fortuna as fast as possible because he was worried what the remaining zealots of the order might do with a son of Sparda around.]

...I didn't get to ask at the time, but you're okay, right? Not many people have seen the sort of shit you and Nero saw, and Nero and I at least have our demonic nature to help cope.

I won't... lie and say there aren't still some things that keep me up... [ like the reminder of her brother being dead. ] but Nero is with me. And even in the darkest times, Nero's a light that can always shine through.

[ A small pause as a smile form on her lips. ]

That... was a little much wasn't it.

[He laughs and shakes his head.]

Not at all. Cheesy shit like that is what makes the world worth living in.

[ That gets a genuine laugh out of her as well. As much as she's sure Nero wouldn't want to hear it, she's pretty glad they did end up somewhere where Dante was. She felt like he'd be good for Nero. ]

In that case, there is more where that came from.
