A blind date is where you agree to go on a date with someone whose identity is a mystery until you meet up at a certain location and time, and then you get to see who it is. It sounds fun to me!

Mom's a genius inventor and Mai's an excellent markswoman. They'd be more okay than a lot of others, but I'd still worry that he'd collapse a building on them.

It's possible that Mom could use some of the arcade's security footage of him to identify his gait, but that's only useful if the laws and technology are in place. And if it hasn't occurred to him to change how he walks. He's not stupid.

As cliche as it is, just be yourself. In some ways it's easier on a blind date because they don't know what to expect either, so you never have to pretend. And if you don't hit it off after the date, it doesn't matter, because you didn't know them anyway, so nothing lost.
