As cliche as it is, just be yourself. In some ways it's easier on a blind date because they don't know what to expect either, so you never have to pretend. And if you don't hit it off after the date, it doesn't matter, because you didn't know them anyway, so nothing lost.

I went on one! But I was bold enough to just ask for one on the comms. I've seen blind date things before, but I don't think I got too far with that.

It didn't work out, but that was due to outside circumstances. You can always try it for yourself and see if it works.
