Today is the Grand Opening of the Snuggly Duckling~ Yay~

[The first thing anyone sees is Rapunzel one arm in the air as she cheered her little heart out. She was so happy with what she had been doing for the past few weeks. She had managed to get everything ready within that time including all the painting that she did by herself.]

I have my menu sorted and over time I am slowly going to introduce various drinks, but right now it's mostly basic drinks like teas, coffees and juice. But I am planning on figuring more as I go so keep an eye out.

[She had lowered her arm in that time, making her way over to the backroom or at least her most important room. As she stepped inside the room seemed bright and cheerful as there were paintings everywhere, if one were to look closely they were painting of various people she knew and had met during her time here.]

While I have that business the money that it makes will be going into this venture. My Light Up a Dream project. I'm planning on helping those who cannot normally achieve their dreams and helping them. [She smiled brightly.]

it may not be as wonderful as various other business ventures, but seeing the face of someone whose achieved something they could never have dreams possible... Then to me, it was worth it. [She was carrying the device as she went and sat down in the chair by her new desk.]

Though with all of this I still have one question... Can anyone tell me why people like to drink alcohol? I am admittedly a bit curious and was thinking about learning to make some drinks for the Snuggly Duckling and just wanted to learn more

Congrats, Rapunzel. It's already looking amazing and the paintings are very pretty.

Most people drink alcohol because they like the taste, to forget their problems or because it gives them courage to do things. Usually really idiotic ones.

That's a lot of reasons people drink. I mean forgetting problems doesn't really help when you think about it though because the problems are still going to be there. Like the two who were drinking on the feed. It made no sense.

It's the same reasons why people has other vices, like eating more than they should or being addicted to intercourse. Some just want to ignore their problems for a while.

Oh, you are talking about Leanne? I think she was upset.

I still don't get it though. Why do you want to ignore something that you could just handle and get it over and done with?

No. It was two guys I was talking about.

Serious problems aren't always easy to handle. You don't like talking about your mother, right? Because things that happened between you two? It's like that or worst for others. So it's easier to not talk or thinks about certain things.

I've talked about her though. Just not in great detail because that subject never really comes up. But I guess I wouldn't say everything.

I assume you ignored when it happened then. That makes sense.

Yes, I know you did it was just an example of how some things aren't easy to talk about. Sometimes it hurts too much.

That would be a very good reason to not have noticed. I mean you are still busy but less than you were before, right?

It's okay Rapunzel. Some behavior doesn't make sense to me either.

Yes and no. Cassian and I just opened our own business. There's a lot to do even if we don't have that many clients just yet.

What business? And what do you have to do before you get clients?

Our business is called 'Rogue Two Security Management'. We specialize in security management counseling and investigations, covering everything from security and risk analysis. We offer with vulnerability audits and penetration testing to developing contingency plans, running training exercises and upgrading security systems...basically we make sure people's houses and companies are safe places.

We need to find a place for the agency, it is now in attleton.

That sounds like a very neat business you have. You still doing the whole making people feel safe thing and that's great.
