[Bakugou looks to be sitting in an old library with various magical tomes somewhere in Fayren. He sought someone out to give him an enchanted item so he can hear the books rather than read them. Which is kind of annoying because he reads faster than some disembodied voice can fucking speak but you take what you can get. He looks toward his phone, doing a very convincing job of someone who can see. Of course he's been practicing.

But he's pissed. The lack of training has taken a toll on him and he needs to stay in peak condition. So he takes one long, aggressive sip of his juice box, before angrily tossing it...well he tried tossing it in the wastebasket, but it just ends up on the floor.]

Anyone know about sensory deprivation training? Asking to challenge myself.

When I was training Shoes and Mikky to use their empathy, I used to blindfold them and play really loud music. Or screw with sound waves, once they got to hardmode. Wanna try?

Why wouldn't I try it? It's certain that at one point there will be some kind of villain who can either take senses away, or has heightened ones I'd have to fight in the dark.

I've never done anything like that myself that wasn't for money reasons. But that wasn't really the same.

Sensory deprivation is not something you want to do. There's a big difference between using a blindfold to hone your hearing and trying to eliminate a sense entirely. That only deadens the sense you try to eliminate.

[The streets are tough and chaotic to navigate through but it's the fastest way to the beach and Bakugou's feeling restless, so he does his best, taking longer than he normally would and listening to the voices and movements around him to try and avoid bumping into anybody. It's easier said than done. People will hit his shoulders, or he'll collide with someone else trying to avoid them, and he's trembling in anger by the time his foot collides with something big and metal, and he trips and falls on his face before he realizes it.]
